being advised by friends to take some time off tumblr/socials. it’s not really what i want. i can try but im not strong. it’s not for any reason than i need to figure my shit out and also focus on my dissertation at least for a week, thinking of it as like similar to weed, if i can stop through the week then ive earnt it by the weekend. maybe i’ll just be on it less idk. i’m sorry, i know it might not seem like it this isnt what i want to do. i think i just need to speak to some people about myself. i want to be here for you, im grateful you consider i have been. maybe i need to plead my case with friends. tomorrow i should be able to. if im online then theres no real surprise there. this is just to explain if im not. god i cant even tell you about my dream. my mind has made up a smell and ive been genuinely hallucinating it all day. almost scared to sleep, have it ripped all away again.

your brain must’ve had some pretty strong wishes because i genuinely cannot explain to you how fucking vivid my dream was. you came here, had a super cool hotel, went to the beach, explored. all of my dream are domestic and simple. god it was so stupidly vivid i cannot take in a proper breath.

my dreams ALWAYS have the ocean in them, in any kind of way. wonder what that means. im really sorry about how you were feeling, well done for (half the battle of) identifying the things that caused it though— im sure you didn’t handle the situation that badly and if you did, im sure you’ll be able to make it better with your friend(?). im sorry about the stress about classes, i cant imagine ur stress but you’re doing really well. you’ve never not been fully capable in academics so i am sending u well wishes. but you’re back now and i hope you managed to relax a little.
