They're adorable in aftercare. Vulnerable and clingy, perhaps crying. Or curled up and quietly shaking. Sometimes just horny and a little fragile. Wounded, maybe welts or bruises or just the hurt in their eyes, perhaps bleeding. Like I said. Adorable.
And then you get to hold them and cuddle with them and praise them, assure them they did everything right and you're proud, or you just lie quietly next to them skin to skin, a comforting presence. And, yes, you get to adore them. You can feel them calming in your hands, relaxing, finding their way back to the world. Back to you.
They'll emerge from their ordeal in your arms, happy and full of love, or proud and good, or relieved and full of tears, or perhaps some adorable combination.
Aftercare continues after that. You can provide comforting touch, like brushing their hair. Bring a juice box. Favorite plushy. Bundle them up in warmth. Let them nap. And they can provide the same to you. Pampering, grooming, to reassure both of you that everything is all right.
Some submissives have specific aftercare needs and that's fine too. Maybe they need to not be touched. Maybe they need a particular kind of reassurance. I've heard of girls that need some corner time to center themselves. You might need to explore to find these things out.
The only problem is if they're so adorable that you snap and have to hurt them again. Oh well, that happens. More aftercare after that. It's fine.
