ok so the thing i keep saying - that a runescript behaves more like a little program than a magic charm - i finally sat down and wrote it up properly
the core of it: you take an intention, run it through woop (wish / outcome / obstacle / plan), and it compiles into a small graph of runes where each one is doing an actual job - a typed operator, not a decoration you picked because it looked cool. then you check the stave two ways: is it well-formed, and does it still read as what you meant. that part holds with zero metaphysics attached.
and i kept the honesty layered the whole way - what's historically attested, what's modern revival, what's documented psychology, and what's an open question i'm not pretending i've answered. it stays "as-if" about whether it "works" magically, instead of claiming it does.
