Off the trio went, going down the fire escape, led by the over-excited adhd ridden Donnie, him being decked out with a swim shirt, and what certainly looked like hand-me-down swim trunks tied around his waist as tight as possible.
Frankie is definitely a lot more laid back than Donnie's reaction, taking to carrying what little beach supplies he could round up in a moments notice, wearing a muscle shirt, sunglasses, and a pair of Christmas tree swim trunks.
they made it through their journey on the subway and to Coney Island beach.
"Here's the beach, Kid, It got everything you'd ever want, a giant crowd, sand to get everywhere, screaming children. Everything."
Frankie said, somewhat sarcastically, Cindy probably gets the feeling that Frankie definitely likes the beach a lot less than Donnie does.
"Knock it off Frankie, they're gonna have fun! Plus a lot more cool stuff happens then you think!"
Well, it's time to get their beach on.
cindy watches the two brothers, clearly amused. she's in a two-piece pink swimsuit, with slight ruffles at the edges, and a white sarong tied over their lower half. it's a bit big on her, but it's…nice. really nice, actually, getting to see herself like this.
coney island is equal parts bright, loud, and—above all—crowded. the beach is much the same.
her eyes scan over the people around them, while frankie lays down a couple of old towels on the sand.
donnie, never one to stay still for too long, spots a kid building a sandcastle a bit away from their spot, and gets a look on his face.
before cindy knows it, they're being dragged around by donnie towards the kid.
this will be…interesting.
