I love sharks and swimming. I'm on the hornchurch swim team. I'm eleven years old. Which might be too young to be on Tumblr, but my mum is regulating this acc, so don't say anything weird.

(As soon as the car parked, Julian jammed the car door open and sprinted towards the beach, not waiting for his parents.)

Woah, kid.

Julian! Wait for your mother!

(He didn't really care about what his parents thought. He was at the beach at last after week of waiting.

When Julian finally reached the beach, he recognized some people from when he invited everyone to the beach. He was glad they could make it. He saw a nice couple, sitting around tree, and a couple of kids whom were building a sand castle. He kinda wanted to join them, but he didn't want to be intrusive. Instead, he sat down on the shore, letting his feet touch the water.)

Rupert Sr decided to stroll up to the beach and let his feet touch the wet sand. His mom and her boyfriend were watching Junior... He could relax for a moment. he gave the boy a small nod, not wanting to interrupt the kids time to himself. unless he wanted to interrupt... plus he was thinking a little bit about Francois as he sat on the beach...

(Julian shifted closer to him, but made sure to leave some space, incase Rupert didn't want him to invade his space.

He looked out at the ocean, watching the waves crash down on the shore. )

It's pretty isn't it?

Rupert nods, "Yeah. It's gorgeous." He briefly looks down at the kid and asks, "If you don't mind me asking, why didn't you join the other kids?"

Didn't want to intrude that's all. I'm not sure if they would like me there.

(He picked a seashell off from the sand, tracing the ridges of it. )

Rupert gently kicked at the waves, causing small little splashes, "Well, the only way you'd figure out if they'd want you there is if you asked. what's the worst thing the could say?"

(He grabbed another sea shell.)

They will probably tell me off or say something really mean. Or kidnap me and throw me in a sketchy van. Mum said I shouldn't talk to strangers for my safety.

"I do admire your mom for saying you shouldn't talk to strangers, it's a good safety. However, I don't think kids are gonna throw you into a sketchy van, if they do, I could almost bet you'd kick their ass. secondly, I don't think those kids would tell you off. well, at least I know one of them won't." He points at Rupert Jr. "That's my brother, and he's honestly the friendliest kid you'd ever meet. I'd be more worried that you'd manage to get him in the back of your car than the other way around."

He smiles a little bit, keeping a healthy distance between himself and the kid.

He crosses his arms, kicking the sand in front of him. He doesn't hesitate to say his next thing.

The last time I trusted a stranger I got kidnapped! I-it was terrifying. What if your brother got possessed by the AntiChrist? What happens then? I'll get kidnapped again.

Antichrist... what? He peaks over and sees the two older kids running off with the sandcastle stuff, and his kid brother, cash in hand, starting to run over.

"Look, kid. It's always good to have a healthy bit of boundaries. Not lettin' someone potentially hurt you is great. But you can't let fear or anger dictate your life. That ain't a way to live."

Rupert Jr. makes it over, waving his cash in hand.

"LOOK. LOOK. I GOT THREE WHOLE DOLLARS FROM THOSE KIDS! THREE WHOLE DOLLARS, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!"

He then stops short and notices the boy his older brother is talking to.

"Hi. I'm Rupert Jr. What's your name?"
