Here's an intro to Formula 1 lore. Get to know some famous rivalries, resident curses, and basic history!

I am once again infodumping about F1, but this time it is about some of the lore in an unbiased a fashion as I can.

the backstory written in the corner is Mike's backstory in Racing Suits, which follows most of the plot of the show Suits, unlike Play The Man, which is loosely inspired by the F1 Movie

Mike hadn't expected the complete 180 his life would take after meeting Harvey Specter. Racing had always been his passion, but after quitting years ago he never would've expected to be back, much less drive in Formula One itself. He'll damn well do whatever he can to prove he's worthy enough to stay, though.

For the first time since he started his racing career after blowing his shoulder, Harvey Specter wonders if the decision to mentor Mike will be worth it.

When Harvey Specter reunites with his former racing mentor, he never expected he'd be back to racing in the series he spent most of his golden years in. After a horrible crash in Silverstone that ended his chances of winning another championship, Harvey is back years later to help the team and mentor the kid who's still a bit green behind the ears.

Or, a F1 movie inspired Suits AU where there's actual bromance between the two drivers

I finally finished it!!! (kind of, I left it colourless but it's supposed to be loosely inspired by the older Ferrari Marlboro suits except instead of red it's navy blue with coloured accents similar to Vettel's Redbull racing suit)

While I did lose my mind a couple times, I did enjoy making this and researching which sponsors to place. I'm just glad I finally made something about the Suits F1 AU hyperfixation I had instead of letting it float around my head. Gabriel and George having a photo together definitely helped lmao.

Anyways, What's a little age gap between two teammates? The age gap is canon in the show anyways. I reckon their relationship in Racing Suits is akin to both Marvey and Kick Sauber's Gabico, while Play The Man is akin to Hayes/Pearce and a combination of other driver/rider team-ups. Is this accurate to the driver pathways in getting into Formula One during the 2010s? No. Am I having fun incorporating modern racing and Suits? Yes.
