Beyond Evil, episode 6
That awkward moment when The Moment(TM) is over... what gets me in this scene is not only the fact that, at an impasse and at odds, they still don't let go of each other till Lee Dongsik gets the call; it's also that Han Joowon takes the phone and brings it to his face as if it wasn't just held in Lee Dongsik's - potentially dirty - hand. It seems that even at this point, when he's nothing but infuriating and a suspect, Lee Dongsik makes Han Joowon forget about his mysophobia.
imagine you were born a twin and then your sister died when you were 20 but you'll never stop being a brother because you decided to stop living for yourself the minute she was gone. and your parents stopped existing because one of their kids was gone and you couldn't make it up for the void. and then you try hard to live in a way that'll keep others safe, anyone who sees you as a brother or a son. but they keep dying and you survive, sometimes for them and sometimes because of them. now imagine you're a 40 year old man with more trauma than a Jenga pile can handle and your coping method is laughing at inappropriate times and generally letting people perceive you as a lunatic so that you can protect yourself. now imagine a 27 year old perfectionist with repression that's one step away from exploding decides you are his nemesis then partner then somehow even religion when he loses faith in everything he knew before he met you. now you have to get him out of hell and keep yourself from losing your sanity too. you are Lee Dong-sik and you keep getting adopted into different roles by people around you, and the last simple problem in your life was that you were once 20 and sucked at singing.
Apparently someone got their car stuck on the light rail tracks at Mt. Baker. For those unfamiliar this is 35 feet up in the air
must every work be good? is it not enough to be bizzare and tonally confusing?
