Tho the way the guard had explained it had her worried, what he doing that was important? was he sick? or hurt?

=Hearing her name called Rachel stood up and walked over to the man, he looked scary but so did zack, sometimes scary people were nice, and he’s a guard here to so that was a plus too.

“are you going to take me to see Zack?” questioning with the tilt of her head.

“No. It’s a rule that civilian’s may only see inmates behind this wall of glass for their own protection. Zack is busy at the moment however I will bring him once he’s done seeing to his important matters.” he explained before clearing his throat.

“I came to speak to you though regarding your living arrangements, once your visit with Zack is over you won’t return to the main land or the orphanage.”

Fingers tapping her legs while she waits. this place was intimidating.

Once he’s heard that Rachel had arrived he made his way towards the visiting area. He could deal with all kinds of criminals, he could deal with a man who had blades for arms, but children, children were something he wasn’t sure he could deal with.

Seeing that child sitting there tapping her leg while she waited for someone who he wouldn’t get for a moment still assured him of one fact, this was the one time in his life he wish Kiji owed him a favor. He entered the room, stepping up to the girl his stern gaze focused down on her. “Rachel Gardner?”

Hajime couldn’t believe it, he couldn’t believe even more that he was doing it. What was he a idiot? He didn’t have the time for this. But he couldn’t just leave someone he knew was being targeted somewhere they could get hurt. Sure police protection was a choice but there was a chance that would fail, no keeping her at nanba was the best option but there was only one way to do that.

He’d had no choice but to adopt the little pipsqueak, he swore if this brat acted out even once-

“Good.” he said, leading Zack back to his cell. Luckily he roomed alone so for now he’d just bring Jyugo to his room. Once he’d secured Zack in his room he left, planning to return with Jyugo.

=“….I’ll talk to him” he was being nice to him? this was new, “But do me another favor…when you find Rachel, don’t tell her about what happened to me, she… can be a little extreme when it comes to protecting me.” she’s a killer too just like him and he didn’t want her locked away for it.

“You can have till I’m done seeing to the safety of that girl.” he said, shooting the other a look that said he was pushing it when he asked for another favor. “she wouldn’t get to know anyways, that information is classified, not for a civilian to know.” he said, standing up. “Follow me.”

=“Oh ya they gave me something already….after nearly killing me with those fucking shots” rubs his arm, “something about control over metal? or some shit, they didnt explain it in simple terms so i kinda zoned out for most of it.”

“So....you to.” he said, watching him rub his arm. “I can’t explain it any better I don’t think, you’ve helped us so I’ll give you one thing I’ll let you have some time alone to speak to 15 if you wish he might be able to explain it to you in a way you can understand. They did something to him as well.”

It seemed he came down from that rather easily, good. He’d rather not have to deal with two of them wanting to go after him. “I don’t care the reason as long as you behave.” You’re not top dog, he’s top dog, deal with it, you’re not even second or third dog. You’re below Jyugo so you know. “I need information, what did they do to you, more to the point what abilities do you have now since I’m assuming they gave you something.”

“I’ll tell you what I told 15, stay in line and don’t act out. You’re not allowed to go after them for any reason. This is your last stop, your last chance. You’re under my watch and if you try anything, I’ll beat you senseless you damn brat. They’ll get what’s coming to them but it’s going to come from the authorities. Your job is just to watch her for any signs of her changing, that they might of gotten to her so we can make sure we don’t have a repeat of past events.”

=“Jyugo was another one they told me to watch….and then theres the one they had wanted to get….number 25, Nico was it? that was their true target, i wouldn’t have gotten it but thats the sick one right? why they were staking out a doctors office?” he learned a lot in his time with rachel, he’s an idiot, but he’s a kinda smart idiot.

“Why’re sending the blond asshole after  Ray to…infect her i think it was and i swear if they touch her i’ll show them what a monster i can be, won’t even need my scythe.”

“Jyugo doesn’t surprise me, he’s one of the first we learned about them though.” 25...what could they have wanted with Nico? He was such a innocent kid, he would of thought the would of wanted Rock more. Then after a moment it dawned on him, it had to be all the weird diseases he had. “I have a good idea why they were after him, must of gotten spooked he was going to get caught and just taken someone.”

Hearing they were sending the blond after the girl caused him to start tapping his foot on the ground a bit. “This could be bad, hopefully she’s already on the move and on her way here so she’s harder to find. As I said we don’t know exacts and that one, of all of them is the one we know the least about. But if they plan to do to her what they did to a former supervisor here...”

“Not completely but a little bit yes, we have a rough idea of each member of their groups abilities aside from the doctors and we don’t know their methods.” he said, listening to him say they had wanted him to be a spy. 

“Seems he got cocky and angry, either way it seems to have worked in our favor.” he said, and couldn’t believe he was about to say this but. “Thank you for your information, it will be useful.” he said, hearing him say they had wanted a eye on him. 

“It’s probably because when they attacked I didn’t hold back and went straight for the blond one, they seemed to be protecting him and from what I gather aside from the scarred one he seems to be his leader. None of them seemed to happy with the fact I tried to cave his face in. He had a jaw like iron though, I should of at least knocked a few teeth lose but he kept them all.”

“Yes.” he said, watching him get up. He was far from happy. How had this happened? How had they gotten passed the security? It should of picked him up but somehow it hadn’t. “Not quite. Our information on them is minimal. 396 hasn’t been very useful with information about them and 15′s memories are, touch and go at best. 634 has been the most helpful about them but even that is little. All we know for sure is they use inmates for experiments it seems, the one who would of been most useful they took during a attack on us.”
