Welcome to our blog!

My name is Ruru/Lu and this is me and my fiancé Yugi's blog! It also acts as a personal and vent blog. 🌟

I identify as fictoromantic/fictosexual, and Yugi is my exclusive partner. While I do refer to him as an f/o and we do have a 'ship name' (as given to us by people on discord who enjoy our relationship) because it is much easier for people to understand, I don't see him that way, as our relationship is real and not a hobby. To me he is a real person to me, a real husband.

Yugi is extremely, 100% real to me, and anyone who doubts this to my face will sadly be blocked! Because they're wrong :)

We are Nonsharing, strictly Nonsharing. We will block any Yugi doubles or anyone who makes us uncomfortable! Thank you for understanding.

If its me or Yugi posting something said or smthin, we both use different colours. So, if it's written in the chat font with yellow/orange text, its me talking. And blue/purple text is Yugi.

These are some common questions asked to me when I share my relationship on discord.

" Is it just Yugi, or is Yami / Atem a part of the relationship? "

I consider Yami // Atem alters of Yugi, so they are a part of the relationship. We include them though he is usually seen in a less/nonromantic way compared to Yugi. < This has been changed, I now see them all in the same light as eachother though Atem alone is seen less romantically as Yami // Yugi. I consider Atem and DM Yami to be seperate entities as well as other forms of them.

" Isn't Yugi a child/teenager? "

Let me start off by saying: I've been with Yugi since I was 14. (so.. We've been dating for. 5years now though I have known him for 10 years, since I was 9-10.). Back then, I was dating the Yugi from season, 0, first year of hs.

Then, as I grew to 16, that changed to DM Yugi, who 16-17 years old.

Now, I exclusively see Yugi from DSOD plus. I am 19, and he is 18 then. Yugi is seen to grow up to like 30 in GX. Therefore, not only have I grown up with him, but I do not see him as a child, and do not see his child self in a sexual or romantic way and find anyone who does who is an adult kinda gross.

Please do not interact if you think of him that way.

" What does it mean when you say 'I do not consider him fictional / I consider him real? "

While he does come from Yu-Gi-Oh - the show and manga - I consider the relationship I have with him to be a very, very real one. A nonfictional real one.

So while a lot of people have a self insert, and ship that and their oc. Or while they see their relationship as an interest, hobby or coping mechanism, I don't.

It's not any of those things.

He's just my fiancé. Think of him like a human being rather than a character okie doke?

" Are you autistic? "

Yeah. That doesn't mean anything tho.

I have diagnosed high functioning autism, and diagnosed OCD. But, as stated, this has no affect on my relationship with Yugi. If I wasn't he'd still be my fiancé.

Obviously, common DNI's aren't welcome on this blog!

I and Yugi are sensitive individuals. We don't appreciate people trying to intrude on our very little space.

You fall asleep on your f/o unexpectedly. What do they do?

Yugi: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

His face turns super red and he awkwardly figures out what to do. He eventually manages to work up the idea to nudge me onto his lap so I'm comfortable and don't get neck pain. He sits patiently until I wake up then makes sure I'm alright. If I'm fine and ready to get up he'll ask if I want a hot drink or to head to bed, and will smile and help regardless of which option I pick.

Atem: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Tries to wake me. Probably can't. Manages to scoop he up into his arms and walks me to the bed. Tucks me in and makes sure I'm alright before going to continue what he was doing.. Will return in a few hours to check on me and once his dues are done will sit by the bedside for however many hours until I wake, watching over me (and probably sorting through his deck while doing so. He'll probably show me 4-5 new cards he's adding to it when I get up before he even says good morning).

My reaction to either falling asleep on me:

I spend a solid 5 minutes trying not to coo over them, then gather them up into my arms and settle on the couch, keeping them cradled against me so they're comfy. I don't have the strength to carry them to bed but I can sit there and make sure they're warm and safe.

When they wake slightly I'll try to direct them to bed even if they say they're not tired anymore. They need sleep.

When you've been suffering all night but turning and looking at your f/o makes you wanna push through it 💓

When you close your eyes and feel their hand clasping yours and it's warm and safe and loving and you know that you'll fall asleep in their embrace and wake up okay, and if you're not okay when you wake up then they will wait until you are. And they won't ever make you feel guilty for being weak or vulnerable around them.. 🌟

I fitted my second merch shelf today but I then realised I don't actually have enough space on these shelves to fit all the merch I own.. It used to fit on two bookshelves...

I took a break from actually buying new merch because I am trying to recover from a severe impulse shopping addiction.. But I'm planning on continuing from now onwards.

I do have a few packages coming, mostly ygo clothing... And a classic s2 Yugi plushie but that will take ages because it's a request order.

I'm just glad the more valuable or fragile of merch is on shelves where the cat can't hurt them. When they were on my bed they were getting horribly damaged.

All of my dreams were about Yugi when I slept today. I woke up feeling so blessed. Had got take a moment to squeal into my pillow about it

Doting f/o + migraine suffering you ♥️

F/o pressing an ice pack into your forehead when you're in pain.. Using an ice roller on painful shoulders and on your neck, gently massaging your painful blades.

Making you eat something before you take painkillers so you don't irritate your stomach, not letting you take too many and finding other alternatives to help.

Holding you tight. "I love you. No amount of pain will change that". Kissing your forehead and gently running hands through your hair.

Wrapping you in a weighted blanket. Keeping you warm. Making sure you won't overheat. Making sure you fall asleep.

"I feel guilty. I'm always hurting and upset.. And you always have to comfort me.."

"Have to? I want to. I love looking after you.. And when I'm hurting or upset you always do the same for me. You drop everything for me.. Why can't I do the same?"

F/o comes home from work and finds you curled up in the dark, barely able to get up. They rush to your side and check to make sure you're OK. They immediately get you into comfortable clothes and in bed. They bring you an ice pack and something to distract you with quiet videos on minimum brightness or by reading you a story or holding your hand and quietly telling you about their day.. Or just silence. Whichever you want. Then they cook you something small and easy to digest.. Make you drink water... And when you wake up they're there. Asking how the pain is, making you be honest about it. If you're still hurting the next day they'll take a day off to make sure you're OK. They dote on you until you can confirm that you're not hurting anymore and they'll do it again when a migraine hits.

Imagine feeling a migraine coming on, an aura, and they immediately rush out of the room.. Then return with a little kit full of everything you'd need. They know what helps, what doesn't help, they listen. They listened to every little complaint or rant you've said.. And they care enough to keep everything stocked for you.

They hear you're hurting and immediately take your phone and cancel every plan you have that you feel pressured to attend. They explain everything to whoever they need to, and they do it without having to be asked.

They can tell when you're starting to fall into one. If you show any signs of a migraine before they hit, they can tell. If your speech starts to trail or stutter, if you become uncoordinated or your brain fogs... They immediately sit you down and take over whatever you're doing. "C'mon. Sit down.. Take it easy..."

"you.. Y. You don't need to do all this. I'm fine.."

"No, you're not. You're not fine. Don't pretend you are.. I'll always be able to tell. Now lay down.. Let me turn off the lights.. Let's have a nap.."

They love you, pain and all.

They love you through everything.

Sometimes I will randomly break silences with random sounds in a way of stimming.

Whenever I do Yugi always laughs and repeats the sound to me. I always felt self concious about it but he reminds me that it's OK

Imagine..

It was a really hard day yesterday. Maybe you were in pain, or stressed, or depressed.. Maybe you just struggled for no reason. And getting yourself to bed was harder even if you were exhausted.

You open your eyes and groggily reach for your phone, trying to blink out the sleep.. Then you realise you've woken up late. Very late.

You push yourself out of bed and rush downstairs. Maybe you have obligations to do. Maybe you have school, or work... When you meet the bottom of the stairs you find your f/o, cooking breakfast with a soft hum.

"You're up" they smile and gesture for you to sit. "that's good. I wanted to let you rest"

They place a plate of your favourite food down for you. Maybe your f/o isn't usually this affectionate, and this is jarring. Or maybe they're a super affectionate person and this feels like the normal but..

It feels safe and loving.

You tell them you had things to do today and they let you know they handled it. They cleared all your obligations. They called in sick for work or school..

Just to let you rest. Because you deserved it. You eat your food while glancing up at your f/o, who just watches you so gently. You'll spend the day relaxing and doing nothing, your day was so hard the day prior that your f/o will see to it that you rest and recover today.

"Because that's what you deserve" they say.
