Looking for VAs!

With our LPs underway and The Chronicles gearing up for its second episode release on the 18th Sponge House is now looking a bit further along into the future to prepare for its next big project!

As many of you know many months ago we started looking for writers to help us figure out a Halo Machinma script. We now have said scripts in hand and are ready to start looking for our VAs to help bring to life the world of Subcommittee.

Subcommittee is a Halo Machinima written by four different writers. Each story has its own plot and characters but they’re all linked together by the Subcommittee, a branch of the UNSC that deals with all the things the UNSC wants swept under the table and dealt with quietly. Each writer came up with a unique plotline that they’ve worked very hard on and now need to be voiced!

If you’re interested in auditioning all instructions, lines, and characters descriptions are located here in this handy document! We are looking for voice actors of all kinds so if you’ve ever had an inkling feel free to audition! If you’re not up for auditioning a signal boost would be most appreciated!

Auditions are opened today and will be closing January 31st!

The response thus far as been AMAZING we are blown away by the interest! While we’ve received a ton of auditions we’re also looking for more auditions with deeper voices to voice a few characters.

Unfortunate and Very Very Sad News

The Redux, as you might've guessed, unfortunately has to go on an indefinite hiatus. We simply don't have any editors with time to do the episodes so until that situation is rectified (hopefully in the new year) the Redux will exist in some strange limbo.

Yes! We've really just hit a ton of technical errors and our editing crew has become rather busy with midterms and work and all the fun stuff that comes with end of year.

We're hoping to get something out soon but at this point we're a little muddled thanks to real life.

Are you looking for a fantasy series about really bad adventuring party who have to save the world?

I hope so otherwise this pitch is going nowhere.

The Chronicles is an up-and-coming podcast/adventure that focuses on the graduating party of Solus Academy, a famous adventuring school, as they set off on their first quest ever. Will they succeed? Probably not.

It focuses on the party lead by Cleo Kingston and her companions the blind mage Helena, the dragon-slaying elf Xander, the boisterous dwarf Agnes, the greatest hero in the land Raphael Free, and their final member: some kid named Jamin.

The Chronicles will focus on a diverse cast as well as dealing with a few ridiculous tropes in the fantasy genre and features up-and-comings VAs along with a mainly female production team.

SO MANY OF YOU ARE PROBABLY WONDERING WHERE THE NEXT EPISODE OF THE REDUX IS.

GRANTED: WE HIT A BIT OF A HICCUP.

But I'm here with some great news! The Redux will be picking back up this Friday or next Friday and has not been abandoned, not even the slightest!

Instead some of our VAs and the main Redux Production Team have been working on an original project and we're happy to premiere the trailer today!

Announcing RVB Ladies' Night!

So, hey, remember rvb happy hour?

In keeping with the theme of an rvb fandom bar, a new event’s starting up as of right now, called rvb ladies night! This is a fanworks fest to celebrate the female characters on the show. Fanart, fanfic, fanvids—everything is welcome!

As a side note, I’m obvs not gonna sit here defining what is and isn’t a female-character-centric fanwork. Use your own judgment. But if you’re writing fic about a female character pining away for a dude or drawing fanart about a female character getting beat up to advance a dude’s character development… you may be doing it wrong.

Consider femslash. Consider female friendships. Consider AU fics in which your favourite female characters survive and make it through unscathed. Consider ridiculously convoluted situations in which South, Jensen, and Sister somehow team up to save the universe. Try something new.

Put your fanworks in the tag rvb ladies night so they can be easily found. We’ll run this officially through September 30th to give folks plenty of time to contribute, and there’ll be updates and mini-events throughout.
