“do you think i’m going to get in trouble?” dain said, trying to bite back any overt laughter. it was their first real music show stage, and instead of just following along with the recording, dain had improvised a big vocal run at the start of the song. if they were going to disguise her vocals to make them ~perfect~, she was going to make sure everyone knew she could actually sing. “i don’t know music show etiquette. are the mnet mafia coming for me now?” @rvtaeri​

“Dude, I wish I saw the all-kill actually happen! I had to read about it happening third-hand from my little sister who doesn’t even listen to us. And when I went to go look myself the spot was taken,” Duckie said.  “I almost feel like she’s just pulling my leg or something, it’s so unreal.”

“i’m so excited for you guys,” dain said, clapping duckie on the shoulder enthusiastically. “i remember when fans had to, like, riot to get you to debut! and look at you now! take that liberty!”

“you know, sometimes my job is a real fucking pain in the ass,” taehyung grumbled, scrubbing his face with his hands. “with all the new vocal trends these days, i’m forced to add so many filters and shit when i’m mixing, and it sounds disgusting more times than not. but it’s my job to comply so i can’t even do anything about it.”

“god, i’m so fucking glad they let us do our own thing,” dain snorted. “i am dreading the day that they take away our autonomy and fuck with my voice... i don’t even know how you can go along with all the shit you have to do.”

“oh, god, i love that color,” dain said, adjusting her in ear as what she assumed a staff member walked by. “it’s so vibrant. i didn’t think managers were allowed to have crazy hair like that in the idol-verse.” @rvchunja​

“unnie, you’re going to get in trouble!” taeha whined as soon as the radio show went off the air, looking at her bandmate with wide eyes. “i don’t think you’re supposed to say stuff like that in public..” @yrvji​

“it’s fine. i didn’t cuss anyone out or anything,” dain said, waving her off and shrugging. “i wasn’t flirting with the mc that overtly. people will just take it as a joke.”
