“what; i didn’t dazzle dazzle dazzle you?” dylan scoffed, rolling her eyes. “i dunno. my potential’s definitely being wasted, but god, at least i actually get to perform. there was a time there for a minute that i didn’t think i ever would again.”
“i know you didn’t make it all the way, but i’m still proud of you,” dylan commented, pulling her knees up to her chest, and looking over at her sister. “everyone really knows what you can do, now. you’ve blossomed. this is your catalyst moment.” @rvisis
“look, word of advice,” dylan said with a tiny sigh, glancing at the other girl sideways. “this whole thing isn’t your fault. i get wanting to double down. but that’s why people are mad. if anyone knows about this sort of shit, it’s me-- you need to swallow your pride and apologize.” @rveunbi

“do you see how many groups give their idols dreads without pirate theming? i’m too scared for anyone to ever do a pirate concept because i just know something like that will happen,” dylan admitted, snorting. “if the stylists weren’t stupid and high, it’d be cool, though.”

“I’d hope they’d be more willing to hear us out now, considering how everything’s looking at the moment for Liberty,” Duckie responded, rubbing his neck. Sure, they just debuted a new group, but it seemed like putting a bandage on the problem to him. “I don’t know the best way to go about it yet, but we definitely need to figure it out.”
“honestly....how much longer do you guys have on your contract?” dylan asked. “if you guys all love each other and still want to be a band, but don’t have trust in liberty..... it might be worth waiting that out and seeing if you can sign all together somewhere else. like... i was a pre-debut backer. you had the passion and the fan support to pull a debut where there wasn’t one. people would follow you guys.”
rvisis:
“you got to throw ninja stars in your debut music video. shut up– you’re living your dream,” isis giggled.
“the fact that i got to redebut in any sort of group at all means i’m living my dream,” she answered soberly, giving isis a tiny smile. “and i’m happy you’re here with me. makes it feel less like a dream.”

“yeah, i think with unpretty and smtm, it’d be a little more understood now. i think depending on who you came for, you’d still get in shit, but there’d be more people on your side.”
“too bad i released that shit on my own instead of waiting to be invited on a show like unpretty,” dylan pointed out. “can you imagine how iconic it would have been there? missed opportunity..”

“yeah…. but i guess wishing for that is useless, you know? nothing we can do to change it. just have use our found families…”
“yeah.... which.... my first group was a mess, and i was really lost for a long time, so... i’m grateful to have finally settled and made those found family collections after so many years,” dylan confided.
rvhope:
“honestly! i think that even a few years ago, this wouldn’t’ve happened. i’m really excited it is,” she answered earnestly.
“i was honestly shocked that season three was going to be all gender inclusive and stuff, to be honest. it’s reassuring.”
rvduckie:
“Beyond infuriating,” Duckie admitted. “Doesn’t even feel right to complain about it most of the time because we aren’t treated the worst or anything but… I dunno. It’s a bummer seeing your friends do great things while you’re not.”
“i mean... maybe you’re not the worst off but.... i’d still figure out if there’s a way to bring it up if i were you,” dylan answered. “burnout is proof that they have the resources and finances to promote a group well. it isn’t fair to only do it for one group.”
rvisis:
“yeah, well, whatever. i don’t have to worry about it i guess. auriga is neat. i just resent the idea that that could have not been the case,” she laughed
“well, i’m not happy. i’m stuck with my little sister in my group. bleh. i’ll never escape you,” dylan teased

“i think you deserve forgiveness. you were young,” eunsung pointed out. “and you weren’t…wrong. i think people now can look at what you said with fresh eyes and take it for what it really was.”
“i think k-pop wasn’t ready for hip hop culture yet either,” dylan agreed. “like diss rap was commonplace in my circles, but for teeny bopper idol fans, all they saw was an attack, rather than a critique through art.”
rvchunja:
“i mean… yeah…” she trailed off with a little laugh. “it’s totally a respect thing, and i get it, but it’s a bit much.”
“i think it’s a thing with korean moms, too. i remember back in the states, my friends could have conversations with their parents that i could never dream of having,” dylan commented
rvduckie:
“Our schedules are pretty sporadic, gotta give the fans something to do in the mean time,” Duckie laughed.
“oh god, i don’t know how you manage,” dylan said sincerely. “i came from a company with no money and a group rife with scandals, and somehow back in the day, we had probably as many comebacks as you. that must be infuriating.”
rvduckie:
“I like my name too, but really, it feels a bit weird whenever I hear it now from someone who isn’t like, my family or staffs,” Duckie replied. “It’s funny, though. Because sometimes I’ll go on a show I get to give a different reason for how I ended up with Duckie. I think my favorite is that I just really like birds, you know.”
“oh man-- i bet there are threads of fans compiling all the different answers you given trying to figure out which one is real,” dylan laughed
rvisis:
“don’t say that! what if that’s the group i end up in? i debut, and it’s in the group you think is nothing special? that’s so mean…”
“obviously you’d make it special. even if the concept was blah. obviously.”
