she took a deep breath, raising her eyebrow and glancing up at him. “you’ll shut me up?” she asked with a chuckle. “how might you do that?”

he pressed his lips together, smiling awkwardly and shrugging, before pressing a quick kiss to her lips.

he wrapped her up tightly, crushing her to his chest and rubbing her back. “oh, shush. you’re so strong and sweet and brave. stop. you didn’t fuck up . you were scared.”

“not gonna lie...that was worse than you just not talking to me, bomi. i missed you and it hurt to think that maybe i’d done something wrong to hurt you and make you angry with me,” he said with a wince. “of course. of course we can. i....can i hug you? is that okay?”
