“oh, come on– you could totally take them. and if you couldn’t, i’d make a big scene and cry and blame me being upset on them (it’d be true) and so if they’re real fans, then they’d stop, right?” she pointed out, rolling her eyes a little and laughing. “i’d love pizza. let’s go.”
“i’d hope so, but you can only wish when it comes to fans.” he tilted his head as he watched yaram. “yes! i haven’t had pizza in a while, i’m desperate to try the new barbecue flavour they offer.”

“you know what i don’t need in my fan mail? jockstraps. that’s what i don’t need.”
“whoa, i’ve never gotten one of those before, nice to know some of us are getting a variety.”
rvtaeyang:
“who do you think i am? sara? they’d survive without me,” yaram giggled, taking his hand and squeezing. “well? you have time now, then? no time like the present. we could get take out somewhere and take it to my place. have a night in.”
“your fanbase is pretty big. i’ve seen some of your fanboys before at shows, wouldn’t dare to mess with them.” dongjun laughed, moving to stand up as his hand still clutched hers. “we could get takeout, wanna get pizza?”
rvtaeyang:
“yet?” she asked teasingly, rolling her eyes and giggling as she leaned into him. “put a ring on it first, hot shot– then we’ll talk.” she smiled brightly, nodding (it was kind of sad, but nothing was more exciting than talking about her apartment. that’s how she knew she was getting old). “yeah, i think i’m just about done! you can come see if you want.”
“don’t think i could take you away from your adoring fans just yet anyway, they’d be distraught.” he replied watching yaram as she leaned closer, “i’ll take you up on the offer. i want to see if it looks completely different.” dongjun hummed, lifting his hand to push a piece of yaram’s hair back.
rvtaeyang:
“all in due time,” she replied with a little laugh. “no, not overworking. i’m excited, though– we don’t come back nearly enough for my liking. it’s so boring– why do you think i started redecorating my apartment? i desperately needed something to do.”
“i know, i know. i wouldn’t try and push you into it yet.” he nodded, hand coming to rest on her shoulder as he listened to her speak. “how did the redecorating go? are you almost done?”
rvtaeyang:
yaram couldn’t help but smile a little at that one, glancing up at him. “is that you asking permission?” she teased. “because if you’re going to knock me up, at least wait until after juliette’s next comeback.”
a laugh left his lips after he listened to yaram, “was worth a shot huh?” dongjun rubbed her back in the midst of speaking again, “are you excited about the comeback? you’re not overworking are you?”
rvtomi:
“Really? I guess that must be true, then. Either that, or they think they can get away with treating their artists crappily now that they’ve got money and power. Probably that, too.”
“spotlight’s a powerhouse, a lot of artists stick with it because it’s a household name and the groups from spotlight are household names. they’re not here for artist support, they’re here for revenue.” dongjun shrugged, despite keeping an eye out for their surroundings.
rvtaeyang:
“i definitely feel a lot of the same feelings,” she nodded, lips pressed together in a line. “i’m what? thirty? and still haven’t done much when it comes to dance, which is what i’m actually good at. it’s….yeah, like you said. bitter.”
“i feel like we’re getting pushed out of the way so they can bring up a whole new generation of idols. i feel like i’ll have to have a kid and join return of superman just to stay relevant and keep my career alive.” he hummed, turning his head to look at yaram.
rvtaeyang:
she smiled softly, hand patting his chest gently as she curled into him. with a little sigh, she replied, “anyone who’s been around for more than seven years is old news that they’re happy to replace with something shiny and new. if only they had respect for those who built this empire for them.”
“just a bit of bitter pill to swallow you know? i’ve been with the company from the start and it’s getting thrown back in my face. although, i suppose this is how you feel too, huh?” his attention averted to her, enjoying the comfort of having her around him.
rvtomi:
“I’m not sure I’ve ever met someone who isn’t at least a little tired of it. Alpha’s idols seem to have an easier time, though, given TNT helped form it. I wish I’d known what Spotlight was like really before I joined - I joined for the cool seniors, not the BS.”
“when i first joined back when the company got started it was nothing like this. that’s what time, changes to management, and competition does to a company i suppose.”
rvjaejin:
“honestly, she did, but i don’t remember. and i don’t think she was being truthful. man to man, i think she just wanted to see you dude.”
“ah, she’s cute. i haven’t seen her in a while. i’m glad she wants to see me again. thanks for letting me know, by the way.”
rvjaejin:
“in the lobby, maybe? or a hallway…i don’t totally remember.”
“thanks for letting me know, i’ll go find her now. did she say she had something to tell me?”

“a light wouldn’t hurt. if you don’t mind sharing.”
“are you okay to be smoking?” dongjun asked, pulling his lighter from his jacket pocket nonetheless to offer it to her.
rvtaeyang:
“i’m not busy,” she assured him softly. that was life with juliette— either you were too busy or had absolutely nothing to do. or that was yaram’s life, anyway. she didn’t have any solo work after all. she smiled a little. “of course i would listen. it’s better than watching you bottle things up and torture yourself, right?”
“couldn’t ask for anyone better to talk to.” dongjun admitted, slipping his own arm around yaram’s waist as he finished the cigarette. “i’m just tired, you know? i’ve been waiting for ages to hear about dramas, but i don’t hear anything anymore. i just kinda feel like i’m waiting for nothing. it’s almost like spotlight are ready to get rid of me and replace me with idols.”
rvtomi:
“Sorry - again. It’s not directed at you, really. I’m just a little sick of spotlight’s bullshit, you know? Trust me, I would fight them if I could.”
“i know. who isn’t tired of their company’s bullshit?” dongjun empathized, “i’m sure someone will eventually so you don’t have to worry i suppose.”
