yeonseok stared at his boyfriend blankly for a few seconds, before bursting out laughing. “of course that’s what that means, oh my god,” he chuckled helplessly. “that’s completely absurd. and why is it kind of accurate?” yeon hid his face in his hands momentarily, embarrassed and a little red faced. “i hate that. i wish i’d never asked. i can’t believe you made me listen to that with my own two ears.” yeon sobered up after a few seconds, smiling contentedly when sebin kissed his cheek. he sighed and shook his head lightly at sebin’s last comment, though he didn’t deign to give it a proper verbal response, seeing the mischievous look on his boyfriend’s face. placing a hand on his boyfriend’s cheek, yeonseok leaned in to kiss him, drawing away after a moment. “you are absolutely ridiculous, jesus christ, i love you so much.”

“right? it’s completely accurate! like, the most accurate thing ever to describe me,” he replied with a laugh, still smiling at yeonseok. sebin shrugged, laughing still, “but you did ask and i had to grace you with the knowledge. i mean, if we’re being honest, i would’ve told you even if you didn’t ask because that’s what boy-” he was cut short, distracted by yeonseok’s hand on his cheek. in the few seconds, he figured that maybe being kissed by the older was a good way to shut up and move along from the conversation. smiling giddily afterwards, sebin just shrugged, “i’d want to say the same for you but someone’s got to be the sane one here.” he paused for a second before nodding, “and i love you so much.” although he and yeon had been dating for a considerable amount of time, the phrase ‘i love you’ still got to sebin and made him feel warm, always causing him to be silent for a few seconds afterwards. it took him the few seconds of silence to tilt his head slightly, “i think we should make the goal to go on one date in every city we visit.”
