“i know a lot of idols move out of their dorms when they get old enough and buy their own places, but why can’t you move out and come live with your parents?” solim asked with a little sigh, holding her daughter. “you’re just a baby, and you’ve been away from home for so long. come back and live with your family.”

“i just found myself thinking that i need a vacation,” solim admitted, rolling her eyes at herself as she hung her coat at the door-- she don’t know when hyuk had gotten home, but she’d had to work late, finishing some work that she’d put off during the tour. “i guess vagabond didn’t really feel like a real vacation. it was so stressful.”

“touring as a trainee is a weird experience, not only do i have to keep up with training and such. but i also have to fly all over the place and sometimes perform. it almost feels like i’ve debuted without all the hype surrounding me.”

“and how are you liking it?”

“you think if i ask nicely the tour will forget me in new york?”

“you have special ties there?”

“being in pre-radioactive is both fun and nerve wracking. for one i get to finally feel what it’s like to be an idol, having a vlive channel and performing with the other trainers on the vagabond tour. but on the other hand i feel a lot of pressure because i’m being looked at as one of the more capable trainers who’s getting ready for debut. it makes me scared to mess up”

“thanks, not a lot of people might see it that way because I’m not like the other artists they sign in the sense that I did start out in korea.”

“no, you’ve got an established fanbase in korea. that’s a good thing.”
