I’m working on a couple different rwby fanfics rn, I’m curious as to what people would rather read.

- Renora Fluff/Adventure

- Angst/Friendship of Yang coping with losing her arm

Sun saying “It was never about that” is actually so important. In our society it’s almost expected that when a guy does something for a girl he does it because he wants to get with her. Half the fandom suspected that was the only reason Sun helped Blake. But here Sun outright tells us that he didn’t help Blake because he has a crush on her. He did it because she’s a friend and needed help, and he’d do it again, even if he knew he doesn’t have any chance to ever be with her like that, even if he didn’t even have a crush on her. Sun is a good boy who doesn’t just help a girl because he expects romance in return, and I’m very glad they’ve made that very clear.
