A month ago the last chapter was posted of this story was posted after a solid 6 months of working on it in tandem with Sami (Looking4Orion on all the other socials). A labor of love that neither of us could have predicted it would become what it did. I hated even the general idea of it when we first started discussing the prompt. but then I kind of fell in love with the whole thing.

The drama, the angst, the sadness and the hurt... because it led to such a beautiful conclusion, a happy ending unique to our story. It's lovely, but I'm also severely biased in that respect.

Last weekend I got to spend a day with Sami and she handed me a physical copy of the thing we created and it's just one of those things i keep looking at going 'what the fuuuuuck. that's real.'

it's very much real. and I'm very much in love with it.

“Fuck, baby,” Alex groans, his vision practically blurring because of the view in front of him; two months down, but he doesn’t think he’ll ever really get used to having this brilliant, beautiful man so desperate for him—Henry could have anyone. Literally. Anyone.

Henry is beautiful—and brilliant, and funny, and… he could have anyone. Anyone at all. Yet, for some reason, he’s here—with Alex; and that’s something he would never take for granted—ever, but especially with the circumstances being what they are. Alex knows that he probably didn’t do a good job of showing it in the beginning, but he truly doesn’t take any of this lightly—he knows what a risk Henry is taking, not only with his career, but also how much he has to fight his own personal morals in order to let this continue. Yet, he’s here, still—and… fuck, Alex is in love with him. It’s nothing he’s dumb enough to voice yet, or any time soon—but he does. God fucking help him, he does.
