Jean, Michelle and Raven were hanging with Elliot and Darlene, getting to know them, the new mutants to the Xavier's mansion, although Michelle was human, Charles had adopted her as his sister, when he found her years ago, and she trained to be a skilled archer and transformed her body in a weapon. She had chosen to side with the mutants, leaving her human life behind, and it was a choice she never regretted. Though... she had her interest on one particular mutant... Erik Lehnsherr, but she knew he wouldn't see her that way since she is human, a race he had grown to hate, due to his past.
Elliot was definitely getting used to his powers since he thought his was invisible like his sister, Darlene. She was learning to control hers.
Erik had stopped by for his and Charles weekly chess match but once let in, he discovered his friend was yet to be found in the mansion. He had deep buried feelings for Michelle but for distrust in humans, probably wouldn’t get the chance to admit. He stood in the doorway where the five of them were hanging out in “Has anyone seen Charles?”
Michelle looked over towards Erik, she could feel her heart jumping out of her chest, the way his accent sound, the way he stood there. Scratching the back of her head. "I thought he was waiting for you in the library?" She asked.
Jean looked over towards him, then back to Michelle, seeing how nervous she was, smirking to herself, but then looked over towards Darlene and Elliot. "How about we go to the training room, that way you both can test out your limits?" She asked.
Raven nodded what Jean said. "Yeah! That is a great idea!" She smiled, always willing to help any mutant like her.
Erik shook his head “I’ve checked, not in there, thought Raven or you would have known if he went out.”
Elliot and Darlene agreed to the idea, getting up to follow Jean and Raven to the training room.
Michelle shook her head, walking over to him, while the others left to the training room. "No, I don't know where he went, have you looked anywhere else?" She asked.
Meanwhile, Jean and Raven was in the training room with Elliot and Darlene. "All right, Elliot you are first, let's see what you can do." Jean said.
“Yes I’ve checked.” Erik replied, this was so far the longest time him and her were together alone.
“Mines invisibility like Darlenes.” Elliot had said and without a thought had reached out and laid a hand on Darlenes shoulder for a second, thinking that’s how his invisible power had to work.
Cue a roll of her eyes, shaking her head. "Let's go find him.." Michelle walked out of the main hall and went to go find Charles with Erik.
Jean and Raven watched him. "Ah, mimicry..." Jean responded. "You have the ability to mimic powers by touch Elliot, not many mutants have it, it's... rare." Jean explained.
"I heard about that power to, it is rare for mutants to have." Raven chimed in, agreeing with Jean.
Erik followed to help look for his friend again “I’ve checked his usual spots, I don’t know where else I’d be overlooking.” He explained, Charles didn’t even telepath with him. Though he did secretly appreciate Michelle’s help, though couldn’t believe Raven between three of them didn’t know where telepathic went.
Darlene listened about the explanation about her brother s powers “Well does explain why invisibleciblity was different from each other.”
“Powers don’t last long, eventually does go away.” Elliot replied, now understanding about his powers, made more sense.
Michelle went into the kitchen, she seen a note on the fridge, and handed it to him. "That should explain why none of us seen him... he is on a date with Taylor, he won't be make til later."
Jean looked to Darlene and smiled. "Well with training, we can make it be like he has the power, and with Charles' help of course."
Raven nodded looking over to Elliot. "Yes, he will help both of you, he helped me when we were kids..." She smiled.
Erik looked at the note as Michelle showed him the note “I honestly forget to check this fridge for the notes.” He was looking forward to playing chess, it was hard to ask but he’d do it “Do you know how to play chess?”
Darlene nodded in agreement with Jean, smiling back “Yeah we totally got this.”
Elliot glanced back over and nodded “So I’d just have to learn every power right?”
