She has to think for a moment. What would she like to learn? She was curious. “To be honest. I’m interested in what you teach. Occultism. What drives it. Why does it pull so many into it. I mean. You watch movies on it and. Well. Nothing really ends good there. Look at the Evil Dead series. It was a mess around and find out situation. That went of a span of over sixty years or possibly more.”

Her index taps against her chin. “But. It still does interest me. Just not the whole. Summoning demons. I would rather not do that. There are people out there who do try. More like asking them as a guide. Or for riches or revenge. Either is a good bet.”

And she was talking to much again. Clearing her throat. “Sorry. I.. Um. Talk a bit much at times. Especially when something does catch my interest. What about you, Professor DeVille? What do you like. Or want to learn in the future?”

The stares were there. And the worst of it. Susan. She would say anything to bring that shine Jesse had to dim. But she does her best to ignore her. When she is in her dorm room finally. Reaching to her closet she grabs her suitcase and anything else she could get her hands on. Besides.. It’s not like she could fit it soon anyways.

Jesse takes a moment to breath. Letting it all sink in. She sobs quietly but soon pulls herself together, wiping her tears away she comes back to the main room and takes her laptop.

“Thanks again, Landy. I can only do so much to show my appreciate. I want to do so much more for you.” For now. She focuses. Sets her sights on taking care of this child. Screw Corvus. Whatever business this was he wouldn’t tell her about. She curses him. She curses him to hell.

“I can email my professors. They should be able to send me everything I would need for the semester until then. I’ll just tell them it’s a family matter. They would understand since I don’t usually just abandon classes.”

She moves back to the door. “I’m ready when you are.” She gives a smile to him, rolling her suitcase with her.
