“It’s hard to explain, plants just do what my heart asks them to. Roses though, it feels like they can talk back to me. My team says it’s called chlorokinesis, but it’s ok, growing plants isn’t for everyone. Maybe your future husband will get you chocolates instead! Much easier.”

Harley chuckled softly. “It was tricky, but I’m very determined once I have my eye on something… and owning a bookstore has always been a pipe dream of mine.” She admitted with a shrug. “One of my favorite writers once said that anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve.” She said simply. “I tend to live by that writer’s quotes.” She admitted with a blush.

Her eyes widened in awe, she truly admired Harley for chasing her dream. Lately she only met people who’s dreams had to do with being a superhero, and Klara wasn’t sure she was like that. “That author sounds really wise, who was it? I want to own a flower shop, I love growing plants and seeing people’s faces when they find the right ones. It’s small, but it’s nice to see people be happy.”

Harley took the bills and put them in the register, handing her back her change with a small smile on her face. Harley had always tried her best to keep her books affordable… one shouldn’t have to pay twenty dollars to read a novel. She flushed at the compliment. “That means a lot to hear someone say that, thank you. I worked really hard to make this place great. My name is Harley, it’s nice to meet you too.”

Klara nodded and put away the change before looking around at the store. “I don’t see many young people owning business anymore, you must have great business sense. Was it hard to do everything yourself?” she asked, thinking about the only way she thought she could earn money, opening a flower shop.
