I had the amazing opportunity of designing this window mural at a luxury residence, Modera Reynoldstown in Atlanta. During the day, light shines inward illuminating the hallways full of spectrums of color, and at night the overall piece is illuminated from the inside out via LED lighting.

BIG scribbles! At the core of my work has always been gesture & mark making, whether it was part of making a recognizable image or purely abstract. Ever since I discovered AbEx painting & drawing in high school, it really spoke to me, and I always wanted to participate in the exploration of this approach in making work. In recent years, I’ve loved exploring gesture further in both painting and drawing, and more recently large scale wall paintings, using still frames from animation as inspiration for color and line work. Recreating spontaneous mark-making and gestures on a large scale, in a carefully rendered fashion, is a real thrill and encompasses my love of both spontaneity and control.
