But guys that’s 100% the Lu Guang who saw CXS die

Everything from episode 3 onwards actually happens in October. Since CXS died in September (not necessarily in 2021 but LG still dived back in September and not in October) and the October Lu Guang we see already has the memory of CXS dying, that logically must mean that this:

was definitely already the Lu Guang who saw CXS die and dived back.

what if you take that and turn it into alternate timeline lives instead??

what if cheng xiaoshi is riddled with birthmarks. some more noticeable than others, but he thinks nothing of it obviously. why would you?
