The rain has finally stopped and construction to the backyard continues. Deck is up, fire pit has a template, and French doors go in tomorrow. Can't wait to start decorating the new space!

Introduction

Ryan Iorio Design is now on Tumblr! I can't wait to use this blog to show the world all of my current projects.

Right now I am working on transforming a dull backyard into an outside living space. Unfortunately, I made a rookie mistake and got so excited with my project that I forgot to take before pictures, but if you use your imagination, picture this. A large, square backyard with a chicken wire fence on three sides, not even connected to the house. A lawn that is 50% weeds, 50% sand, and 0% fun! I have set out to change all that. I am added a 16' x 16' deck that will lead down into a 14 x 14' patio with built in fire pit adjacent to a tree decorated in Grapevine Light Spheres with a hammock below. 

When I am done, this backyard will have a relaxing feel that will make anyone want to hang out outdoors.
