Coming out here to say to all of the ballet students who are missing their regular training and have to do class at home right now:

I am so sorry that this situation is keeping you from what you love to do, and that it is preventing you from the consistency in training that feels so important at this moment in your lives. My heart aches for my students everyday.

There are still many ways to explore yourself as a dancer at this time, you only need to get creative and have some fun. I’ve also decided that nobody ages this year and we can all resume counting the years we’ve been alive next year, when our youth hasn’t been wasted away by world events coming from left field haha. Please stay safe and continue to learn as much as you can under the circumstances! ❤️

Ok so I have a 100% true terrifying story. When we moved back into this house about 5 years ago, I was washing my face when I saw this weird note written on a yellowing, crumpled piece of paper in the bathroom. I stretched it out and read it, and written in child’s handwriting was a story and part of it said something like, “I saw my dad standing there, he was very angry” and some other things that I can’t remember. I flipped it over to the other side, and written ALL OVER the page in varying degrees of intensity were the words, “GO AWAY”. It immediately sent chills up my spine. When I asked my sister about it, she said, “Oh yeah, we found that in the garage when we were backing out into the driveway, it was under the car and I was hoping you had written it as a joke….” And I mentally could not deal with how creepy that was so just shoved it behind the makeup drawer so I didn’t have to think about it anymore. I forgot about it until a couple days ago when I randomly wondered if it was still there so when I checked, I found a piece of yellowing paper, like the note was written on. Weird, somebody had folded the note into a paper airplane, I thought. But when I looked at it, IT WAS BLANK.

THE CREEPY NOTE WAS GONE, AND IN ITS PLACE WAS A FUCKING PAPER AIRPLANE ON THE SAME KIND OF PAPER. I THINK I MIGJT THROW UP

Hey, guys! Revisiting tumblr for one sec because I forgot I made this post and I wanted to update you all that some years later, I checked a google drive account that I didn’t realize I had backed up my old phone onto (from the time I originally found the note) and REDISCOVERED THAT I HAD ACTUALLY TAKEN PICTURES OF IT BEFORE I SHOVED IT BEHIND THE MAKEUP DRAWER. Thank god, because the story sounds a lot better when I don’t paraphrase what it said because I couldn’t remember. Not only that, but what it actually said was WAY FUCKING CREEPIER!!!!!

Either way my mom doesn’t even live there anymore so whatever, it’s somebody else’s killer ghost problem. I actually keep the paper airplane in a box under my bed in Los Angeles and so far I haven’t had any problems, but one time when I pulled it out as a party trick, the lights flickered and my friend started crying because it was so creepy.
