Just wrapped up another 3D tutorial, this time by the talented 3D artist Sarah. I had really enjoyed following this tutorial. It was great to have some fun while learning. I even noticed my speed improving as I got more comfortable with the process. Can't wait to keep pushing myself and learning new things.

Dynamic poses

Following my other dynamic pose, I wanted to develop my drawing skills whilst also thinking about how the pose exaggerates his movement.

I have addded the arc of action to this drawing to show my knowledge and understanding about the arc of action and how the character looks exaggerated when staying still.

Developing dynamic poses:

Looking back on my last units feedback, I found that I need to improve on my dynamic poses for my characters. This is why I decided to develop my skills and understandings of how to make a character look like its moving in a still image. I can do this by overexagerating the expressions and poses that the characters are in.

I chose to study dancers because of their use of exaggeration when their body is stretched. When looking at this drawing I have done, you can see the arc of action in the body, starting at the head and going all the way down the right leg. 

REFERENCE OF ARC OF ACTION: 

The blue line indicates where the arc of action is in this pose. I wanted to include a diagram of where I found where the arc was to show my understandings of the chosen dynamic pose.
