I don’t think anyone wants to re-live high school. Yeah, and I’m sure we’re not alone about that. True but I needed a day or two to relax.
I would question their sanity if anyone did to be honest. I’m so glad to be out of there and out of the teenage years too. Being in your 20s is so much more fun. That’s never the worst thing in the world, especially with how busy the run up to Christmas was.

Yeah we did. And don’t mention those girls. I think I ran into an old High School girlfriend and it was just awkward. Yes, I think that’s our slogan or motto, young and drunk in Breckenridge. It was what I needed after the Christmas party.
Okay we can move on, I don’t really fancy re-living those high school memories anyway. I think that’s definitely our motto, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We have the whole summer to recover so we might as well make the most of the best season of the year.
How was everyone’s New Years? I went to the Breckenridge New Years party and had wayyyy too much Champaign. I also think I had a New Years kiss but clearly it was nothing memorable, no matter how cute the boy I was talking to was. What a shame.
It was good, mine sounds pretty similar to yours to be honest. I definitely had too much to drink, although I at least remember my New Years kiss. I may not remember her name but at least I know I had one.

Yeah… it like happened once. But I think we’ve moved passed it and we don’t really talk about it. I think we like to blame the fact that we were young and drunk. It was good and I think I can spend New Years like that again.
Well at least you’ve managed to move past it. There’s a few girls during high school who never did, although they’ve moved away now so I don’t have to see them anymore. Young and drunk is always the best way to be though. I’m glad you had fun dude, and it definitely doesn’t sound like a bad new year at all.

I don’t drink in copious amounts, somehow the idea of spending the following two days lying hopelessly on the bathroom floor regretting my poor life choices doesn’t appeal to me. I can make awesome memories completely sober. Trust me, I’m fun all the time.
Okay, but if I’m going to spend more time around drunk guys you’re gonna have to fend off all the losers who want a piece of me.
Two days is a little excessive, I guess it depends on how well you can handle your drink in the first place. Poor life choices are always the best ones, at least at the time anyway.

Yeah and they’re looking for the same thing. And it’s awkward when you run into someone you’ve hooked with and you haven’t really talked after the hook up. Never doing that again. I just hung out at home drinking and playing some video games with some friends.
Exactly! It’s a perfect match up. Dude that’s definitely the worst, especially if you were friends with the person once and it just kinda kills your friendship. Sounds good to me.

So is alcohol poisoning – just puttin’ it out there. I don’t really drink, well not past a drink or two, I decided at a fairly young age it was more fun to laugh at drunks and store the memories to use against them at the worst possible moment.
But in my quest to make 2016 the best year ever, I’m trying to do the Christian thing this year and spending time with the people who need me. You and your irresponsible drinking clearly need me. So sure, I can play the role of the drinking buddy.
You don’t drink? That is a pretty valid point but it’s also a lot of fun to make those memories for yourself... well those that you can remember anyway.
Okay this is gonna be awesome. You don’t have to do it a lot since it’s obviously not your thing but I promise you that your season is gonna get a whole lot better.

Your 2016 resolution should be to drink responsibly, drink water between alcoholic beverages and spend more time with people who help you make positive life choices, such as myself.
Drinking responsibly is boring... and I always forget to drink the water. I mean, considering where I work, I probably should remember but I don’t. Are you offering to be my drinking buddy?

Probably the same. A party somewhere. I mean there’s always a New Years party somewhere here. If not I’ll just invite a bunch of you and we can do something at my place.
Yeah there’s always the official New Years stuff going on at the bar and stuff but a house party would be more fun. Sounds good to me! I just plan on getting very very drunk to start off 2016 in the right way.
No, I’m about fifty years too young to be a fan of Buble. I’m guessing his high pitched and screechy voice will appeal to me more when I’m old and hard of hearing.
You know you can download all the Star wars movies right? Personally, don’t see why anyone would want them as it all just seems outdated and unrealistic, but whatever floats your boat. Oh your family gave you chocolate, that’s… smart. Nothing like giving the boy who seems like he’s always on a sugar high already more chocolate. At least the snow boots and ski jacket seem like a logical and more useful gift. Nope, they don’t really believe in materialistic gifts. Which is fine, because the one time they did try and buy me something it was this over sized and unflattering T-Shirt that said “Jesus S.W.A.G (serve worship and glorify)” which they then made me wear to middles school for a week… even Jesus was cringing.
Well maybe he’ll be your favourite Christmas album in 50 years then. His voice is not high pitched though, or screechy. It’s smooth and velvet-y, at least that’s what my mom tells me anyway.
Yeah but downloading them is so much effort and there’s something awesome about having the discs too. Star Wars is great though! Of course it’s unrealistic, it’s not exactly based on a true story. You probably have a point but they know I love chocolate too much to care. Plus they just send me out of the house for everyone else to deal with. Do you still have the t-shirt? You should definitely wear it around here, it sounds... fabulous.

Yeah mine was awesome too! Although any Christmas Day which involves me going snowboarding is gonna automatically be awesome.
I’m much better with wine than I am with anything harder, and I tend to enjoy the taste when it’s a nicely purchased bottle. Surprisingly I wasn’t very hungover, I did have a slight lingering headache throughout the day, but I skyped my fathers again and it seemingly disappeared with seeing their faces.
Yeah see, I have no idea which bottles of wine count as nicely purchased and which ones don’t. So you drank a whole bottle of wine, didn’t pass out and weren’t very hungover? Damn, I’m so jealous. I don’t think I could move for most of the next day. At least not without wanting to throw up everywhere. That’s cool, I’m glad you got to speak to your dads again.
