22 y/o trans male. (he/him or they/them). Just trying to get into the Sims community and have fun! I speak English and French. Current Gameplay: Not So Berry Remix
Do you still love the rainbow? Did you enjoy your Not So Berry Sims, but you want to play with some newer aspects of the game? Then, this is the challenge for you!
The Not So Berry challenge by @lilsimsie and @alwaysimming has been a staple in Sims 4 gameplay since 2017. Whether you were on YouTube or Tumblr, this challenge has crossed your path more than once. The game has changed a lot in three years, so in carrying on the challenge’s legacy, it’s time to try something new!
Welcome to the Not So Berry Remix! New careers, new traits, and still the same loved ten generation legacy challenge we all know.
Basic Rules:
Nearly copy-paste of the original rules which you can read here, but in case you don’t want to change pages, here they are!
Each heir must represent the color of the generation (i.e. hair, makeup, clothing), but brightly colored skin is not necessary (these aren’t actually berry Sims, that’s the joke). Of course, this is optional but a big portion of the fun.
The colors of the spouses don’t matter as they aren’t part of the challenge. Unless otherwise stated you can do whatever you please with them.
Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.
You may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation.
Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Keep the lifespan on Normal.
The generations may change as gameplay changes, but as of August 2020, these are the generational rules of the remix challenge! I’ll try keeping everything updated!

While my queue is on a break, I thought I’d post a group of Sims that was a collaboration with my friend. I don’t usually make Sims based off of real people/characters so this was a fun way to test what I can do!
With that said, I finished the build I need tonight so story hopefully resumes on Friday!
my queue is officially empty, and i still need to unpack my computer and set it up SO hopefully i have new content tomorrow or thursday! i may post some sims that my friend helped me make
If Ambrose wasn’t decided on moving soon, then the dryer catching fire was definitely what sold him. The lint trap full indicator wasn’t even on! He was exhausted, the neighbors were always loud, and he wanted to move even closer to his sister.
For Winterfest and his birthday, he was giving himself the gift of a new house in a different city. One closer to the celebrities that he works with...
Ann couldn’t stay much longer because her mom wanted her home by curfew. It was then Aurelia realized that her dad never gave her a curfew. They played a little, ate dinner, and then, Ann was gone. Aurelia decided to take advantage of the quiet apartment to do her homework. Their neighbors so rarely gave them a quiet night.
Aurelia came home with a project, and who was her partner but Ann Barrie-Mercer! Ambrose helped them out with their volcano for a little bit when he received an SOS text from his friend, Spencer. He excused himself, but before he left the house, he decided to make the girls dinner. It seemed like they were going to have a cousins’ night!
The cats decided to get a little frisky, and-- Well, that was an unexpected turn. Unbeknownst to Ambrose and Aurelia, Primrose was now expecting her first litter.
Good morning from the Barrie’s! It was Monday morning, and everyone was awake early. However, both Ro and Ray were full from dinner the night before. Since Ambrose had the day off from work, he decided to start on a screenplay. It was an easy morning for what was hopefully going to be an uneventful day.
Family dinners were becoming their new normal. It was nice for them to both have a day off to just spend together. As Aurelia played with her lab table upstairs, Ambrose started cooking dinner. Eventually, he called up to her.
“Ray, can you come set the table?”
“Just a sec, I’ve almost got it.”
“Alright, whenever you’re free.”
Thankfully, it wasn’t too long until she was downstairs, and they were able to enjoy dinner in peace-- With Primrose in attendance, of course.
After Kingston left, Ambrose decided to drown his sadness in some snow fun. They finished the first snow pal that the girls named Georgie, then it was time for a snowball fight. It seemed that Ann inherited Dahlia’s perfect aim while Ambrose and Aurelia both struggled with it. After another snow pal and an angel making a snow angel, it was time to take Ann home and get some hot chocolate.
Taking Kingston inside, they sat down by the fire. Ambrose decided not to question the strange blue glow around the man because there were more pressing matters. Something to make Aurelia’s life more stable.
“I think we should make it official, Kingston.”
“What official?”
“Us?”
“Ambrose, I don’t want anything serious. You have a kid and--”
“She’s a great kid.”
“I don’t want kids. I’m sorry. Let’s just... Can we just be friends?”
“Yeah, sure... I should get back outside to my kid, but thanks for having this talk, yeah?”
Even if it hurt to hear, maybe he would wait awhile before attempting the talk with Glen. On the off chance he found someone looking for something serious before then.
i’ve officially completed my move! however, there may be a Gap in my queue depending on when i can set up my computer and stuff. i still need to make ambrose’s intro post (sorry to delay) and there are a few in game things i need to do as well
There was a plus one for their snow day of fun: Kingston. As Ambrose pulled him aside to have a very important talk, Aurelia and Ann decided to catch each other up on the latest cartoons. Then, it was off to build a Snow Pal!
Happy first day of winter from the Barrie’s! Aurelia and Ambrose were going to be watching Ann that day, but before going out to the park to see her, there were a few morning routine items to check off. Plus, they absolutely had to get the cats into their brand new sweaters.
