I’m not going to reply to the messages in my inbox that pertain to whatever argument went on earlier today. And I’m not going to go through posts to read about it, either. This is the only comment I’m going to make, and if it’s a little ignorant, I apologize. (It’s what I get for opening my mouth without knowing all of the facts.) Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and sure, sometimes it’s fun to have a little back and forth, but attacking someone - or in this case, a band - is unnecessary. And belaboring a moot point and launching arbitrary digs at each other is ridiculous, especially since I doubt we’ll ever come to a consensus. I’ll defend this band for the rest of my life, but not against unnecessary commentary that sounded like it shouldn’t have even gotten attention in the first place. Anyway, the point is that you’re all wonderful. Circa Survive has lovely fans - and yes, maybe some not so lovely ones - but that’s the same for every band out there. When it comes down to it, at one point or another, we all loved this band. So whether you’re someone who still loves them today or someone who lost interest along the way, just be respectful of them and of each other. Love you all, as long as you’re not a dick.
