Girls... be careful when a guy says this to you.
You can go ahead and believe them, and yes they may be telling the truth, but sometimes they have hidden intentions when saying these words.
I'm still waiting for the one guy that will tell me this sincerely and not leave me.
You and a person end a relationship you have with one another, but it's not like you can go through life without seeing that person. You may work with a person, go to school and have classes with that person or even hang out with the same group of friends. What do you do? Most of the time when it comes to running into the person, you try to keep your cool and act like you don't care about them any more. That person is doing the same exact thing. There are stolen glances and then automatic look-a-ways and all of a sudden deep down you are telling yourself not to care because they probably don't care. It's a contest between you and them... and in order to win, you have to act like you don't care... even if in the end... you still do.
"It's not you... it's me" the quote a lot of people say when breaking up with someone. A lot of the times that quote is pure BS... but what can you do, you can't change a person's mind when they're set on leaving you. All you can do is to accept that they need their space and that you can't fix whatever void there is between you and that person's relationship. They are the ones that need to figure out themselves.
The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.

This happens more often than not. One of your friends gets a new boyfriend/girlfriend and then all of a sudden your friend disappears off the face of the earth. I always thought that this only happened when girls get boyfriends, but I've actually seen it in a few guys.
To be honest, I was one of these people. Story time... it was my first real relationship and I was head over heals over this guy. Once we started dating all I wanted to do was spend all my time with him. It was nice, you know? Being with someone who liked you and you had a good time with. I didn't seem to need to go out with my friends because there were so many things to do with this guy, we were preoccupied with each other.
But then in the end, the relationship did not last... although I had a few friends that I kept throughout the relationship, I realized that I lost majority of my friends. Luckily a lot of my friends were forgiving enough and I managed to gain them back, but it took some time. Only because as the two years I was spending with my now ex-boyfriend, life went on and they moved on.
From this experience, whenever a new guy comes into my life, there's no need to shut out my friends.
You may need those friends in the long run... and I'm sure they won't be too happy if you do shut them out all because of a new relationship.
There are people out there who don't realize that what comes around goes around. These people go behind your back saying or doing things thinking that they are not going to get caught. Well word to those people... there are plenty of people like me who manage to find things out. I am no FBI agent or investigator, but I have my ways in finding out enough information to put pieces together. There are certain things that you may not want me to find out, but with my sources, be careful... I will find out. So to those people who are trying to hide things from me... you know what? Don't even bother. You can either tell me the truth, or I'll end up finding out one way or another.

I'm a big believer of astrology. I don't focus my whole life around it, but I do believe it is on point most of the time. I was browsing a website and found this for my sign... it's what to expect for the new year. From what I read, I'm really excited for what this new year has in store for me.
It's true how this past year I had been trying to make the wrong relationships work. But now, I truly am ready to be patient and wait for the right guys to come along. But of course it's going to take time and first off I need to get myself and my life together before the right guy can come and truly fall for the person I am.

How could someone move on to another person so quickly? This has happened to me about 3 times already and the question boggles my mind. I've come up with an answer and although I shouldn't be thinking this way about myself, I really do feel replaceable.
I'm sure these girls that the guys moved on with are amazing girls, but in the end, I was replaced... and rather quickly in my opinion.
Will there be a guy that won't replace me? I'm still waiting...
Who is a player?
Someone who makes you feel special and makes you feel like you're the only one in their world, but in reality, they're saying this to every one around them. Well maybe not everyone, but definitely the ones that they are interested in. These people end up really hurting the ones that they're talking to. How? Easy, they get caught. They don't realize that this world is a lot smaller than it is. People talk and others listen. Those listeners talk to more people who listen and eventually what was said comes around. The people who behave this way, these players... they really need to pay attention to who they're hurting, because in the end... karma is going to bite them in the ass and all those people they played, well the joke's going to be on them.
2 guys in the course of what... 4 months? Yeah, thanks for making me feel like a princess for the few weeks we were talking/together, what have you. And then all of a sudden I hold no sort of importance to them. Wow, way to really crush someone, huh?
The Vampire Diaries, my ultimate favorite show... and this quote from Caroline is exactly how I feel.
I'm at that point in my life where if someone says something to me, it's going to be very hard for me to trust them. Especially guys.

This year... I am NOT going to let ANYONE mess with my head.
Just this past year I told myself to keep my heart guarded. Just recently I let that guard down... and now... I remember exactly why I told myself just that.
There are guys out there that will tell you things that you want to hear... make you feel like the most special girl in the world. And once you start falling for it, they quickly drop you and move on to the next girl.
I never believed this truly happened until just recently. I was the girl that fell for the act. How do I feel right now? Stupid, rejected, upset, angry... so many emotions that I wish would just go away.
Because of this, my heart will be even more guarded... no guy will break me again... I won't let them.
2012, I'm back!

Sorry I turned my back on you the last couple months of 2011, but I'm back and this year we are going to write about my feelings, emotions and what's really going on deep down in this little heart of mine.

Every now and then someone will catch your eye. Today was one of those days for me. A very attractive guy comes up to me, strikes up a conversation and all I can do is smile wide and hope that one, I look good, make up not smudged, nothing in my teeth and hair in place... two, I don't say something stupid... and three, hopefully there will be more of these encounters with this new cute guy. But in the end, I can't help but be a pessimist and think that this guy can't seem to like a girl like me. There are days when I feel like I'm confident, but then sometimes that confidence... just disappears.
Lately there's been a lack of confidence. Why? I'm not exactly sure it can be pinpointed to one specific reason. But it could be the fact that I've just recently lost, yet another, piece of my heart.It's plain and simple really, when someone crushes your hopes... you automatically assume that the next guy you meet will do the same...

A convo that took place a couple weeks ago with a good friend. Main point to come out of it is the whole idea that love comes to those who aren't looking. It's true, I've been looking, waiting, trying so hard to find that special someone. I really need to focus on me again... and he, whoever he may be will show up eventually. Granted it sucks when you find someone you really like and it just doesn't work out... but patience really is a virtue... there's someone out there for everyone.
