Summary:

Makoto thinks his love might dwell deep in the hadalpelagic zone, where the sun is but a distant dream and there is a constant snow of rotting flesh. He dreams of pressure like vice grips, bearing down onto his body, and of glimmering lights like stars, lining mouths with too many teeth and illuminating cloudy, sightless eyes.

For who needs eyes down there, where love is blind?

so i didnt rlly have solid ideas for this set of prompts (which is SUCH a shame since “au” is such a lovely and open-ended prompt...) but i was listening to/watching the video of 炜WARD ROMANCE and i really liked the background?? enjoyed the yellow-orange->blue color transition style a lot, so despite it being yellow-green->blue, this art is absolutely inspired by the visuals of that mv :)
