Out of all the things Shinji could have done so he ended up in a cafe on Sector 5, while unsure of why, commonly because heâs a airhead he decided to take the opportunity to take a break of finding a work that related with his field of experience, being a journalist, a part time waiter or... like Kenzaki, try to find a job that paid him for being a Rider.
âHuh, hello! I pretty much encountered this place and I wanted to know if there was something that you could recommend me? If itâs cheaper even better!â Talking to the nearest customer he only smiled with all of his cheerfulness, hoping she would help him out.
Huh, okay so. Iâve been lacking totally on Shinji, so I guess its time to open up another ad?
Like this for a short starter, capping at 4. Fellow Kamen Riders are excempt of this.
âI was scoped out by BOARD for this, myself.â After countless menial jobs here and there, getting an offer from such a big company was a welcomed turn of events. Even with everything that had happened so far, Kenzaki was sure he would go through with it again if he had the choice.
âI have a sword that can hold them when I transform, but otherwise I carry them in my pockets.â It sounds much more pathetic than he thought it would when he says it out loud, but at least he hadnât managed to bend or break them so far. Would he get fired for that? It wasnât like they were paying him now, anyway.
If something happened⊠Itâs true. The city is quiet, too quiet to be run by a group of people with the power to do these things. Kenzaki has been going through his days waiting for something to happen and yet it stayed calm so far. âI can help you right now, too. Did you find out where youâre living yet?
âSo you took the job and became a Rider for them. Dunno but I feel that having someone bossing me around as a Rider would be to much pressure. He did expected us to kill between each other for his own purposes.â And well, even for Yuiâs sake too, but it wasnât really what she wanted in the end.
âI see, I have them on my deck, and itâs usually put on my belt when I transform. To each their own, I guess?â Shinji smiled once again, now that he had the information he wanted he should get going and find somewhere to spend the night tonight. âAh really? Thank you!... Well, I did find where I will live but the conditions are ridiculous!â Shinji said in a high tone, seriously why did those guys sent him to a chemical waste district with so many buildings around? âIt would be to find a inn to stay for the night, I guess.â
â Itâs your fault for being deceived! Â Â or perhaps my beauty is to blame? Â Â Â which means itâs godâs fault for making me so beautiful!
Gettinâ in your âgrillâ - Soma/Shinji
Somaâs squint intensified, the alcohol clouding any decent judgement he had right now. âWell too bad, fuck face, you found *hic* troubleâ, Soma uttered, taking out his Caliber Phone and the chip needed.Â
âHenshin!â
Soma held his cool guy stance for a moment, then staggered, reaching for his BB gun. âNow Iâm a, uh, g-gentleman, if you wanna make your move, go right the fuck ahead, palâ, he offered the man before him a chance to attack or perhaps, transform if he could. He wagged a finger in the air at him, also trying to focus on not puking. He was probably in no condition to be fighting, but here he was, starting as much of a fight as he could.
He actually did something dangerous! Was he a Rider as well!? As quickly as he could he squinted and jumped. âO-oi! Donât tell me you--!â And as soon the drunk guy transformed he hurriedly took the Ryuki Deck and showed it to the nearest mirror. âCâmon canât we solve this without fighting?â
[âHENSHIN!â]
And now that he became Kamen Rider Ryuki he quickly stood in a defensive stance, oh man why did it always have to be like this!? [âCâmon youâre not even in the right state to fight head on!â]
Clearly this place got worse the moment he got distracted it seems, Shinji looked in sheer panic at the flames hat were consuming the city, and only one thing filled his mind for a moment, that was the worry if other people were doing okay and if no one was hurt. Shinji didnât hesitate and actually jumped into that danger. If only for 20 minutes per day he could save people from this madness then he would do so.
Grabbing his Ryuki Deck he went towards the burning city, bent with his will to protect the people like a Kamen Rider.
âHenshin!â He announces as he shows the deck towards a mirror, and in a matter of a second his red armor appeared, Kamen Rider Ryuki was now on scene. He pushed towards the fire with the strength that the armor gave him.
And now that he had done so, he tried to move various boulders and debris to help the trapped people to escape from their burning houses, the only thing Shinji was relieved is that he didnât had to fight any monster and he knew that if something happened he could always count on Kenzaki, Kamen Rider Blade.
âAlright, this seems to be the last one!â After saying that he uses his Sword Vent card to access his DragSaber to split apart one giant boulder, there wasnât anyone trapped as he did one final check. He was relieved; all of the people he had helped out were actually in good state with minor injuries.
Though⊠the smoke and fire made it hard to see. Were his eyes deceiving him? Was that another Rider? He needed to check if it was real, and if they were on the same side as him or like the other side of the Riders.
He moved carefully, his hand readily near his deck to take out a card if stuff got into a fight. âHey, youâre here to help people?â A bit of a stupid question, but he has dealt with Riders who didnât actually help people.

âYouâre fighting against the person who made you a Rider?â Though, Kenzaki supposes he had been doing the same thing too. At least, they were trying to kidnap him for some odd reason. It was a strange thing to think about, being kidnapped once and then once again and ending up here. Kenzaki busies himself with looking over Shinjiâs deck instead. âOh, they are kind of different. Wish I had a carrying caseâŠ,â he trails off, handing back the cards.
âBut Itâs good to know there are more of us here.â While he misses his friends, there was a small comfort knowing there were others out there like him, if not slightly different.
âWell, itâs not like I was chosen to be a Rider. More like, I became a Rider by mere chance. And well, his way of doing things wasnât very good.â The memories of him finding the Advent Deck at Sakakibaraâs emptyâs apartment and how he accidentaly transformed into Ryuki flowed quickly. It was surprising to him until this day. Even Shirou said that he shouldnât had become one, and even used Time Vent to stop him, although he failed. âOh, you donât have one?â He asked as he put his Advent cards on the deck.
âIt is! We could help each other if something came down.â He wonât deny he misses Miho, Kitaoka and Ren. But until now he should try to make himself acquantianced with other Riders.
Kenzaki canât help the noise of astonishment that escapes his throat. There were that many Riders out there?
â13thâŠ? I donât think so. Iâve never heard of your boss. I was hired by BOARD to be a Rider,â he says, digging into his pockets to take out the only Rouze Card he has. Shinji has an anxious air to him, with good reason too, if the comments about fighting and a war were true. Maybe giving proof would calm him down.
It looks like a fancy playing card, a little larger than normal and decorated with an image of a beetle, but Kenzaki hands it over for Shinji to see anyway. It may have been the only one in his possession when he woke up, but at least it was the most important out of all his cards. âI donât know what an Advent Deck is, but I have this.â
BOARD? He never heard anything like that, perhaps a different organization that was outside of Kanzakiâs and Kagawaâs grasp?
âCurrently, he isnât my boss. Well, Iâve been fighting against him.â Not that he actually finished him, Kanzaki Shirou was done for when he escaped from Ryugaâs control, but alas thatâs a topic that he should forget.
Looking at the Rouze Card that Kenzaki showed him he showed his Advent Deck, the dragon symbol showing his Rider identity as Ryuki. âOh, they sure are different!â He said while taking one of the cards, especifically his Final Vent Card. âUh, well. Sorry for mistaking you, Kenzaki-san.â
Gettinâ in your âgrillâ - Soma/Shinji
@ryukisurvive
Soma was drunk, of course, and was having a rough night. Heâd gotten a little too hammered at the bar, and realized heâd decided to drink in Sector 1 that night. Of course, Sector 1 likes to shift itself every hour, causing a drunk Soma quite a bit of distraught. He couldnât find his way around, no matter what corner he turned. He was starting to feel frustrated, on top of drunk. He felt almost as if he could blow up on the next person to show their ugly mugâ
After bumping into a guy on a corner, Soma had it, rearing back to hit whoever it was, but stopped the fist. âWatch it asshole, before I g-grill your assâŠâ, Soma worked the words out in a drunken haze, reaching for his Caliber Phone and giving the stink eye to the man before him.Â
Shinji was still getting used to the city, that was a fact. After all, the city was so confusing that sometimes he just went walking in circles holding his head. After seeing that it was already night time he decided to go towards some place that could lent him a bed for the night. But saying it and doing it was quite different, apparently this particular block of the city shifted every hour leaving the poor man confused.
Turning to the next corner he bumped into someone, quickly he tried to apologize but the scent of alcohol reached his nose rather quickly. The man was drunk, that much was a fact but to actually get threatened suddenly made him to jump.
âS-sorry! I didnât meant to! Iâm truly sorr---â He stopped as the man quickly tried to reach for something on his pockets. Shinji got a goosebump, as the sudden action quickly reminded him of a certain Rider who was rather aggresive as well.
â...Sorry, Iâm not looking for trouble.â He quickly reached for his own Advent Deck on his jacketâs pocket.
âThatâs a long story, but if you want to knowââ
He stops, belatedly noticing the other manâs not so positive reaction. Was he okay? More importantly, what did he mean? âToo? Does that mean youâre a Rider? And whatâs this about a war?â
âYeah, Iâm a Rider too.â
Having himself calmed down he took a deep breath and then looked at the fellow Rider, did he really not know about the Rider War? âLetâs say that a man called Kanzaki Shirou gave 13 people Advent Decks which allow us to become Riders. Although... we were forced to fight each other. Arenât you the 13th?â
âNot exactly.â If he was a policeman, at least he would get something like a cool badge. A badge and a card. Now that would be nice.
âI work for a company as something called a Kamen Rider. Itâs to keep people safe.â
âOh, a Kamen Rider too? Thatâs cool!â
...Wait a second.
âKamen Rider!?â Shinji quickly jumped back in sheer surprise, that was a big notice for him. He quickly tried to demand answers but the shock made him to stutter. âYouâre a Kamen Rider t-too? H-how did you become one!? Are you perhaps another one fighting the Rider War!?â Someone needs to relax.
âKido-san, huh?â He takes the card, turning it over to examine it idly. It was a shame BOARD didnât give him business cards like this. It would make a couple things easier. âMaybe youâre right. They canât keep us here forever.â
âIâm Kenzaki Kazuma. Itâs nice to meet you too.â Kenzaki pockets the card and shoots his hand out toward the shorter man. âMy job is helping people,â he adds at the last moment. It wasnât something so simple, but since they were sharing careers and all, it seemed appropriate.
âHelping people? Are you from the police or something?â Shinji wondered about it, did he knew about the disappeareances that occurred on Tokyo in 2002? Well, if the investigation was still on it by the year he started to work in. Some people thought the case as dismissed but perhaps information would have been around.
âNice to meet you too, Kenzaki-san.â He grabbed his hand and shaked it.

{â} Hearing a voice call out from behind her would Selvaria turn around and be asked about District Beta. A location she hadnât heard particularly good things about, and this poor boy had no idea just what kind of place it was. With a grimace, sheâd nod her head.Â
â I do. But I donât find its living conditions to be worth the trouble, honestly. All of the districts are problematic in their own regard. âÂ
Eh? What does she means that itâs not worth the trouble? Was it that bad? Perhaps she had a bad experience and didnât like the outcome, but perhaps it was really good.
âAh, seriously? How is it? And how bad are the other ones?â Perhaps luck wasnât on his side again.
