freya-powell:
Freya chuckled, shaking her head. “How about we both just sit here?” She suggested, not wanting to just take the whole table and as she scanned the room it didn’t look like there were too many open spots anyway and the queue at the till was long. She listened to the other woman, able to tell she clearly had a lot going on. “Wait, really?” What were the chances, right? “I actually… just moved into a place and I was gonna need a roommate.” She wasn’t sure how long she had intended to be here herself but she knew she needed to get her siblings to realise she wasn’t running away again. Freya almost asked who she was trying to find but she figured it wasn’t her business and they’d literally just met, so.
A grateful sigh escaped Savannah’s lips when she said they could both sit here. It would take very little effort for her to move to another table, but she was exhausted and was happy for the company. “Um... Yes?” She smiled, but laughed a little when the girl continued. “Wait... Are you offering to be my roommate? Just like that?” Savannah was clearly shocked, but she was in no way about to turn down such a generous offer. Maybe it was fate that she sat here. “I mean, if that’s alright with you, I’d really appreciate it.”
