Bio/About Me

Hello I am Samantha Klein and I am an undergrad graphic design student located in southeastern Wisconsin, United States.

I have lived in southeastern Wisconsin all of my life so far, and yes it is cold. I started getting into art when I was little and continued with it ever since, but that doesn’t mean that I didn’t have doubts. I am a full time student at a University of Wisconsin college pursuing a BA in graphic design.

Painting Sketch

Spring 2019. Painting compositional sketch for my first painting this semester. Focusing on surrealism, and textures.

Spring 2019. I did this painting cause I was having a hard time developing a decent concept and this was the first concept that I liked.

Spring 2019. I have always been fascinated by how much and how little light a flame can through into the environment. How quiet and how strong it can be. One of the test photos for my photography class.

Spring 2019. Created a logo for a mock of a travel destination website.

Fall 2016. An assignment that was a self portrait and we had to do research on symbols or create our own.

Compound Logo

Fall 2018. This assignment I choose the compound word jackrabbit. The purpose of this project was to understand the basics of creating a logo. In this assignment you had to create two objects from the compound word and create an interesting logo.

Fall 2018. A client came to ask to redesign their original logo. The top photo are the four designs that keep the elements that the client wanted. The bottom the original logo.
