Hey so I haven't really posted in a while on here but I js wanna waffle on about trying to figure out what biology Trey has goin on with him so sit back because it's gonna be a long one
So I got this really interesting thought while in biology about how Trey seems to be an animal and a plant at the same time (a plantimal if you will) and it kinda got me curious about how he would function as an actual creature. I went to his wiki page to find some facts about him that could help me in discovering what his species can do. So basically here’s what I figured out abt him + some sizes of what I think Trey could possibly be inspired off of:
Ignore the text at the bottom definitely nothing to worry about
I highlighted what could possibly help me figure out this creature’s biology and wrote down what I could infer about Trey’s species and how they work:
Assuming Trey is a mammal from the cafe dialogue where he tells the player he can keep his hands warm in his pocket, which might infer that he is warm blooded, I needed to figure out how he is able to photosynthesise and grow leaves on the top of his head.
Problem is, there is only one known vertebrate that can photosynthesise by utilising the chlorophyll from algae by storing it in its cells. The only way I could think of implementing this into the biology of Trey’s species is that when the embryo/seed is developing inside of a female (I don’t even know help me) she would begin to eat a lot of plant matter in order to harvest the chlorophyll from the plant cells to deliver to the baby, ready to provide them with the chlorophyll needed for photosynthesis.
Also using the fact that he is VERY good at hide and seek, I made a theory that Trey’s species evolved to look like trees in order to camouflage into forests to hide from predators (god knows what’s tryna eat Trey) so they evolved to basically look like a humanoid tree.
Now when I considered his size I first thought he was about like the size of the average Joe. However you prolly can’t hide well if ur not around the same height of a tree!!!!1!11!! (I mean you could but you could just spot the smallest tree there) so doin a little bit of math I tried to estimate what Trey’s height could be by calculating the range of an oak tree’s size (80ft) and dividing it by 6 (he looks like he’d be 6 feet tall), leaving us with 13,3ft (rounded to 1 d.p). Since Trey implies he’s young for his age as his grandfather is 6,000 years old, he might be shorter than that by a couple of feet, so he is most likely: 11.4ft tall. Here’s a diagram of the average Joe compared to Trey and his grandfather I made in the epic size comparison website:
Last thing before I stop here is that there is a café dialogue from Trey stating that he has around eight crows in his leaves. I thought it would be nice if crows and Trey’s species had a symbiotic relationship similar to clownfish and sea anemones; the crows would keep Trey’s leaves free from any pests inside and in return would provide the crows with a safe shelter to nurture their young.
Ok that’s all for now I might draw somewhat scientifically accurate Trey sometime this week thanks for reading don’t forget to liek and subdscribe bye
Brother, may I have some squid?
Strange.
Wouldn't it be funny

I AM CRYING WHY IS THE RH SUBREDDIT FILLED WITH POSTS ABOUT SALTINE CRACKERS
Bein a lil silly but what if male and female SKs from remix 9 had their own sex dimorphism just like real anglerfish do irl like
Another headcanon... Ohmygosh.....❤️🥹❤️🥹🥹❤️🥹❤️❤️🥹🥹🥹
My RH headcanons yaaay (mostly js bio stuff🥹):
Barista learned to talk just like how meowth did in the anime (they learned and from the dude that adopted them in that one comic)
The vegetables that have faces aren’t really real plants at all, they just feed off of the bugs that so happen to crawl on them from time to time as well as feeding on the nutrients from their roots.
On that note, be careful. They can and will bite your fingers with no hesitation if provoked.
Since the space batter has no face, he can also preform photosynthesis with chlorophyll, hence why he’s green. It only seems to work back on his own planet and Earth though and it isn’t really enough to give him the energy he needs to play baseball, although it does give him the ability to survive without food for a long enough time (I was inspired from the Elysia chlorotica, a sea slug that gets its ability to photosyntesise because of the plants it eats and the yellow spotted salamander as it’s the only vertebrate that can use algae that it eats to photosynthesise, similar process for space batter).
He gets the chlorophyll from the rice balls he eats, he puts in some form of plant inside the middle of the rice ball and then he takes the chlorophyll from that. If you’re wondering how he eats the rice balls he has this little mouth that’s reeeally difficult to see so he eats it like a snail.
Also when he doesn’t eat plant matter for a crazy long time his skin just goes kinda pale and a lil translucent.
For some of the species that don’t exist in real life, I’ve made separate families, classes and orders for them, but those will be their own separate posts. However, I will just share that the family I created for the humanoids (e.g. Rapmen and the chorus kids) is called “chromidae” (because they come in different colours teehee) and splits off into a couple different genuses.
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way Boondog should be able to fly. His wings are too small to get his fat body off of the ground. He, of course, flies anyway because beehounds don’t care what others think is impossible.
Speaking of Boondog, I speculate that he just has a skeleton (although with hollow bones) despite being half insect half dog.
Onto what I think the fish’s real life counterparts are, quicknibble is a bluegill, pausegill is a tench (it’s the best possible resemblance I could find through research💔) and Threefish could be a bass (specifically black bass).
Space kickers also play real soccer games just like people do, the minigame is just them warming up/practicing.
Space kickers also have rough palms that look kinda similar to a gecko’s foot to help them with catching balls.
Also in the RH universe if anyone has a dangerously low level of flow they will look sickly and won’t be able to function normally.
I have more but I’m too lazy to put them all in one post🥹
found this crazy image of Callie's model with her hair down 😭😭😭
now i need a Marie one (for research purposes ofc)
