Hey I've been struggling with mental health shit, but. I saw Iron Lung for myself. Came to the conclusion most of the negative (non-spoiler) reviews I saw about the movie were either wrong or very exageratory about the flaws of the movie. For a debut movie, this was fantastic. Not perfect, I have criticisms of the movie myself, but really, really fantastic. Honestly whether or not I talk about my thoughts about the movie in the future is as of yet undecided, I want to see the movie a second and even third time before I do anything like a review or especially analysis, but there is SO MUCH here, there is so much artistry and intent and just pure love that went into the film. If you're able, go see it yourself. Maybe not in theaters, but when it comes out digitally and on DVD, see it. It's a fantastic experience, I was immersed in the film from start to finish, and even with the issues I have with the film, I utterly adored it. I won't spoil anything, just watch the movie for yourself. I promise you, you will not regret it.

Okay. Hi. I tried actual legit pixel art for the first time in my pitiful life and I discovered I actually really enjoy it. But I also discovered I don't know how to convert it to a png without destroying the pixels so I cheated and screenshotted the art because somehow??? the quality was better like that. idk. IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME HOW TO EXPORT THIS ON KRITA WITHOUT DESTROYING THE PIXELS. idk ill give you the other half of this reuben .

also i know the pro pixel artists will probably rip me a new one if they ever find this cause i know i did like twenty billion things wrong with this but. fuckg it

anyway i will be doing more of these little portraits but for the crossguild. ok? ok. i had a lot of fun with this even if it was painstakingly slow

Kinda paranoid this post is gonna sound like a "let men be masculine" type post bc that is NOT the intent. I don't think there are any rules to making a trans character or headcanoning a character as trans (Just... don't be transphobic about it) but it does kinda Not Feel Great to see a lot of people making a character, pre-transition, present very "femininely" or very "masculinely". Like. Late-discovery-never-processed-their-feelings trans characters, trans characters who presented a certain way to bury their feelings, or trans characters who are GNC are cool and I love them! But I wanna see more... Ways that people choose to depict a trans person's pre-transition self.

Sorry to Constantly talk abt trans croc its just smth I hold dear. But like. So often I see people decide pre-transition croc was Super "Feminine", wore dresses, had tons of make-up on, and like. Idk man! Everyones entitled to their headcanons, and I won't spring to calling anyone transphobic, particularly not if its a trans person projecting. But it'd be nice to, idk.... See a trans Croc who always vehemently refused anything societally associated with womanhood. Trans kid Croc who was pushed to wear make-up and did it as badly as he could on purpose. Trans Croc who got rejected by girls because they could tell smth wasn't "right" with him, and would be shunned by boys because he wasn't what they wanted. Rough and tumble trans Croc. Trans Croc who enjoyed the concept of jewelry (Like rings or earrings), but avoided wearing it because of its ties with (*Patriarchal, white supremacist) womanhood. Trans Croc whose family did everything they could to make him a "proper girl", but he refused it, time and time again. He wasn't gonna be what they wanted him to be, and when he discovered this was called Being Trans, it didn't really change much, because he'd just sort of always been firm on his identity.

Again. Everyones entitled to their headcanons. But IDK man. Some more stuff would be nice.

Everytime someone in this hellscape of a fandom acts like the Donquixote family is "hehe evil found family X3" an angels wings are ripped off and shredded without mercy. Genuinely how do you watch one piece, which depicts exploitation and abuse constantly thoughout the story, and not realize that the Donquixote family is built and relies on the grooming and manipulation of its youngest members.
