Mor Mahal

 So, like any other Pakistani drama serial currently on television, sautanein na ho to baat kaisay banay gi. The “originality” of the series was perhaps to be conveyed through the fact that it’s a period piece. Direction: amazing, Cinematography: Wow, Costumes: Lovely. Acting: Meh. Despite the fact it is the first episode of the big budget drama serial, it seems that the acting present, or lack thereof, may perhaps drag the show down into Obscurity. However, one cannot forgo the fact that despite looking like an hour long promo for Ali Xeeshan’s clothes, it also delivers on some key plot points which subtly come off as very game of thrones-esque, i am going to hold off my verdict until i’ve seen a couple more episodes. But for now, the amazing looking show is being dragged down by robotic performances

Movie: Bachana

What needs bachana in this movie is the time one invests in watching it, admittedly; the first half albeit being a generic run of the mill rom-com script kept me in for being fast paced. However, dragging the same narrative on to the second half was awful.What is up with these formulatic scripts being executed so poorly over the past year (dekh magar pyar se, Ho mann Jahan), The cinematography of Dekh Magar Pyar say was its highlight, the same can be said for the music of Ho mann jahan, despite being entirely awful scripts. Sadly; Bachana falls flat in both areas.The night time sequences were lit and sunsewuently color graded so badly, that it was hard to trace the movement of he characters even in the cinema.The acting i'll refrain from commenting on because the shallowness of the script didn't leave much room for character development. There was this shot were the conversation angles shifted, and the continuity was disturbed by the wrong placement of the characters in the same scene, what a rookie mistake. Verdict: Bachaiye apnay aap ko. 2/5 stars

DC’S Legends of Tomorrow TV SHOW first episode Review

Tv Show: DC's Legends of Tomorrow DC's back to back launches of it's tv show lineup has been nothing shortof commendable; with hits like The Flash, The Arrow, Gotham, and more recently; SuperGirl. Each of these shows has managed to hold its own, so how does the new kid on the block rank up? Right off the bat, it is just not what it was ranked up to be. Although we are only one episode in the series, many had anticipated this series to be a convergence for The Flash and The Arrow storyline in the DC tv show universe, but that isn't the case. The initial episode lacked the intense action choreography that is to be expected from a multi-hero lineup, although there was a battle sequence towards the end of the episode, it didn't register the intensity one would expect from several superheroes fighting side by side, and thus ended up being lukewarm. Doctor Who fans will find some similarities in the show to the British Sci FI drama, one of the few things that draws the audience in is the consistent element of time travel. Maybe we've been spoiled by the CGI and action choreography of the high budget superhero movies to have come out in recent years, but it is hard to register this show as having a DC identity and likens more towards a Disney XD scifi series. Verdict: I am going to hold this one off to be fair, since it was only the first episode, but for the episode seen in isolation; 2.5/5

To all that have witnessed my demise, Behold; yet another drama for your eyes. It was a lonely stay at a mechanical place Where clogs spun, gears kept their pace. The plastic and metal, kept everything tight No power of emotion, no sentiment in sight. It was how the things were designed to be. To function in unison, and function indefinitely. Then one day, the plastic turned to skin The metal that cooled, melted from within, Someone had poured blood instead of oil, Who was this person, to put me yet again through toil. It was another mechanic, another passerby His face of innocence, his wrench of lies, He was the cause of my mechanical demise.
