I really love Pitch Perfct, I’ve been a huge fan ever since I stumbled upon the clip of Becca auditioning with the cup song, but PP3 was bad. The other 2 movies were way better and had a comprehensible plot, but this one felt all over the place. Maybe I need to rewatch but Im kinda pdisappointed

Like at the start they showed the bellas struggling in the real world, and they had a bellas reunion. Aubrey said they could perform for her dad and the troops and DJ Khaled, and stacey reveals shes pregnant. They go to the sound check where they meet the other groups they're competing against, where theres SUPPOSED to be a riff off. But the other groups show them that they have real instruments instead of acapella, which I didnt like since I always love the riff off the most but whatever. We hardly hear from these groups the rest of the movie until they perform ONCE. There could've been a plot where the bellas desperately try to use real instruments until they find that their voices are the most beautiful instrument they could ever ask for, but no. theres some weird subplot with amy's dad that suddenly takes over, and they dont expand on aubrey's struggle with not feeling important enough. I love amy, but it's pitch perfect, it's not all about Amy and her dad. I could go on about how we never got to see the bella's have to face consequences for ruining the party, how they apparently performed the same song and dance for an entire day at the same place, how badly written all the characters were(ESPECIALLY how they treated emily), how chloe had a love interest but they hardly had any screen time, and how quick the scene with stacey's baby was when that was the only good moment of the whole movie, but this would go on forever and im not very articulate. idk im just so disappointed
