So yknow how Black Vultures preen Crested Caracaras.. i was thinking Manco as the Crested Caracara with his cigar, and Mortimer as the Black Vulture with his pipe!!! cuz they're both gay and in love (the birds and the cowboys)

Part of a scrapped fictional magazine called Love.Lee

Started planning for this series of works last fall, but after months of inconsistent painting sessions I unfortunately had to let it go :,)

The squares were eventually going to be decorative ceramic tiles loosely depicting characters, scenery, and objects of LVC's films/shows. I chose three symbols per project and seven projects per decade he acted

A bunch of us wish he modeled too. His gaze alone holds so much depth. Imagine the pages behind these covers are filled with cool poses and sharp outfits

As I wrote in another post, I had to rip the LVC interview in Italian from Rai's website because I wasn't satisfied with the versions floating around. I mean, who doesn't need Lee making those faces in better resolution?

The great @noavemberrain has translated the video before, so I won't add much on that front. However, as an Italian native speaker, I feel it is my civic duty to let you all know that hearing Lee ask for a limonata ("lemonade") and being met by a no makes me giggle every time. Fyi, limonata is also slang for French kiss lol.

A Last Minute Stop

As we're facing breast cancer, my friend has found herself victim of an unfair and frustrating insurance situation. Administrative mistakes and paperwork complications beyond her control have create unexpected expenses and, as we're working into a quick solution, she's in that limbo in between "Having" and "Not Having" a functional insurance.

Right now, we're trying to raise $250 to help cover urgent insurance-related paperwork fees, essential billings, and other immediate expenses that have appeared during this predicament.

Rare video alert: Lee at a Carnival party in Italy! Have fun and try to guess which costume he wore before pressing play. (translation below)

A Carnival dinner and masquerade ball organized by the Consorzio Stampa Cinematografica for cinema stars. In attendance: the terrifying Lee Van Cleef, in perfect western attire, Franco Franchi in burgeois attire, Catherine Spaak and Alberto Sordi, who shows an ecstatic smile: the dinner is free. But he's not the only one enjoying himself. Among the award recipients, alongside Sordi, are Franco and Ciccio: those two don't need masks, not with faces like that. Prizes were also given for best Bonnie and Clyde-inspired costume. And finally, Liana Orfei. Having left her lions behind, she has turned to floriculture: she is playing the part of a rosebud. As the saying goes, there is no rose without thorns. Quite right. The thorns will come the moment Liana Orfei starts acting.

"Lee Van Cleef in full western attire." Yep. He could have dressed literally as anything else but nooo, western attire it is.
