Some advice for new acnl players:

I keep seeing people either asking these questions and assuming they could things that they really can’t.

No, you can’t let someone into your town to get a camper. Only you the mayor can grab the villager in the campsite. If you have space (less than 10 villagers)

Most villagers ask to move out in 4-5 days.

The max amount of villagers in your town is 10.

You can only plant perfect fruit that’s your native fruit.

Perfect fruit trees will be dead after a few times producing rotten fruit. You’ll have to either throw them away or you know just leave it on the floor.

You get a random move-in after the 8/9th. Your 10th villager must be getting it from someone or from the campsite.

Plot resetting is when: (this is how I do it) You know when a villager will move in. Campers usually take 1-2 (sometimes 3) days. A move in one usually takes 1-2 days. You change the date on your 3DS system settings. Do not go into your game and change the date.

You start a new save file and you go into the process of starting a new character. You run around and see if said villager is there. If you like the spot continue on making the new character. Set your house down and eventually you’ll get to save and quit. If you don’t like the spot. Close the game and start over again.

Some trees won’t grow. Sometimes they’re dead spots. Sometimes there’s too many trees grown there. The max is 12 trees/bushes.

There’s guides on different types of bushes: usually on google there’s a good one.

If you want a recently moved in villager to leave. You must let go of any villager that moved in before them. Sorry but that’s how it is.

If a villager moves out you’ll have to the 16 villager cycle. That means let 16 villagers move out after the one you want in order to get them back.

To cycle out villagers I personally did the 2 days forward 2 days back. Check, double check, triple check to see if anyone you want to stay asks to move out. Save and quit your game a few times. Better safe than sorry.

Anything involving hacking tumblr user Delia-song has a faq about it. Sorry you can’t downgrade at all. Not possible.
