Do you remember what your greatest accomplishment was at age 13? Well, it doesn't really matter either way, because whatever it was, Jamie Edwards -- €”the tween scientist who's now the youngest person to ever carry out atomic fusion €”-- just crushed it.

It's already March. Of 2014.

In 13 days, I'll be turning 23.

*INNER PANIC ATTACK*

HOW IS THIS HAPPENING? I still don't know how to life. I'm not convinced that I've ever had a real adult job. I don't know how to boyfriend. And most days I'm just so all over the place that I feel like a chicken running around with it's head cut off.

But seriously though. If I think back to 18 year old me, I thought I would have my life together just a little at 23. I thought to myself, in 5 years I'll be at a stable job, working my up or working my way towards grad school. I'll have a cute apartment and a great boyfriend. I'll be able to sustain myself financially while helping out with things back home.

And it's not that I'm unhappy with where I am in my life. I'm extremely happy with my job, my apartment, my friends, and really my everyday life. It's just that... where do I go from here? I love what I do and while I want to do it for maybe another season or two, how am I going to feel if I'm 24 and in the same place with the same dilemma of... well now what?

Wow. I just made myself super sad. Let's not. Sabrina, go to sleep.

LA vs Idyllwild

Living up in the mountains has been wonderful. I get to climb, swim, hike, and do a lot of recreational outdoor activities that has always been somewhat lacking in my life.

And I love it.

But there are days when I think I would give it all up just for a chance to dance regularly again. I miss taking studio classes. I miss messing around with choreography. I miss being around other dancers.

I realized that while I enjoy making choreography, my favorite part about dancing is learning other people's choreography and just making it fit to my body and my style (which is why I've always loved class more than a team). And that's something I just can't have up here.
