Decided to create a tarot card deck for myself. 78 cards in total. This is the first that I have completed. I estimate that this large project will take me about a year and upon completion I hope to have it professionally printed. I may try my hand at reselling a few decks if there is interest. Anyone else?

Feel confused when people (regularly) fave-bomb the 8+ year old pieces in your dA gallery, to the exclusion of all recent work?

It’s a stupid thought I thought I’d share, and it’s particularly bewildering to me, but I suspect I’m not alone.

It gives a very particular feeling. I don’t think I have to say what that is.

I have this feeling with one of my pieces in particular. It's several years old possibly over ten years now. It is a sheet of paper covered in hastily drawn symbols I was compelled to "write" down... they are old and the symbols have become more refined over time... yet... that piece alone has more favorites then any other piece in my gallery. And while it doesn't make me mad, it does frustrate me a bit. Something that literally took me less then 10 minutes has more attention then some of my pieces I have literally spent weeks on -_-;;

What’s with my mom’s obsession with Mitchel or I giving her grandkids?? Like she’s upset Mitchel says he’s never gonna have kids (he’s 15, mom, chill) and upset that I don’t trust I’d be able to take care of kids and that I don’t want sexual relationships like, at all. Going far enough to call my lack of desire for either sad. Y'know what’s sad is being pressured by my family into doing shit that I can’t pull off in a healthy manner after I expressed I didn’t want to do them. That’s how I ended up crying alone in a bathroom one night after the first time I’d ever had consensual sex, just so I could say I did it and she’d stop making fun of me for it. But I guess I’m supposed to push all that aside so I can give her a grandchild I can’t even raise?? She didn’t even want me, she’s expressly told me I was the result of an affair and that I basically threw a wrench in her plans for life, ffs. @ mom: stop.

Oh hun, I'm so sorry you have to go through that. Sometimes parents can be so selfish; only thinking about what they want for your future and not what you truly want. Do. Not. Give. In...

If you do not want children, then do not have children. They are a lifetime commitment with their own unique personalities, thoughts and feelings. There are too many people that feel pressured into living that lifestyle... not because they want to, but because they felt they were supposed to... and it's never a good situation for either the couple or the children.

I'll be honest, I have two children of my own but because my husband and I wanted children. But I see the way my own mother hounds my younger brothers, even when she asks about how other people are it leads to "are they with someone?" "Are they settling down?" "When are they going to have children?" As if that sort of lifestyle validates them and makes them somehow better. It's all a sick illusion... do what makes you happy. Go after the goals you set for yourself. Do not let people stop you from being you; even parents. And if you see children in your future; great. But it's equally great to live without them as well. With someone, without someone...it's your life. Your future. You be you. :)

Felt like doing something mythical/fantasy like, so here is a lion beast. Sort of just a manticore but with a lion face instead of a human one.
