I keep thinking back to what my mom asked me and my boyfriend. Cuz, my parents found out we had sex, and apparently its a big deal and they were pissed. I think its stupid but whatever. Not the point.
She asked us if it brought us closer. I really don’t know about him, but for me, ( we didn’t even go that far tbh), it was just a thing that happened. I’ve never really been all that into sex to begin with, and so for me it was just a thing, a thing we can do multiple times if we want.
But my answer to her question would be no, I guess?? Because the sex did nothing to bring us together. If anything, its the way he looks at me, like he’s got eyes only for me. Its the way he takes my hand in his, caressing it so gently and giving it kisses at random. Its the look on his face when he tells me despite everything he feels about himself, being around me calms him down. Its when he calls me weird because we’re so different and he says he likes it. How he hates the music I listen to, but when we’re in the car together he hands me the aux and tells me to be the DJ. Its in the way he kisses, rough but gentle to not bruise me.
The way he holds me close, lets me know he’s gonna be there. When he opens up and tells me about his past, and his feelings. When we have to go home and we can’t fucking separate from each others lips because we’re not ready to leave even though we said goodbye ten minutes ago. How important it is to him to respect my family even though for me I say to hell with them.
The sex was just one thing among all of these other things. My parents aren’t seeing what we feel for each other. I’m sorry I’m writing this here, I just, can’t seem to get him off my mind right now.
