My breaks been okay! I left highschool and went to prom ( which was AMAZING . ) I ’ m really glad that i took a break off of Tumblr in order to reflect and allow the past to move on whilst prioritising myself

okay I ’ m really aware that i accidentally referred to my transmasc friend with the term “ girl „ ( context , je was worrying about his grades and i said “ girl , you ’ ll be fine. I know you ’ re gonna pass . „. ,, he explains that me calling him girl makes him dysphoric , so i obviously apologise and ask if he would prefer to be called dude . he says he ’ s rather a neutral term , but I ’ m kinda struggling on a non - gendered platonic term of endearment ?
i feel really bad but i genuinely feel like there ’ s cotton in my head .
