HEADCANONS: ABILITIES
* post-canon, narinder still retains his magic: this comes from the fact that he was not born a god, but was instead born a mortal with innate magic. he still carries these abilities, which include energy vampirism and energy channelling, amongst other things.
* however, since losing his godhood, he has to be careful about how he uses his abilities. before, he could use his divinity as a source, but now he must either use an outside energy source, or his own life force. this, of course, takes a little getting used to, and the first time he ends up greatly injuring himself.
* he tends to use plants as an energy source now, but in battle he will use the lifeforce of his enemies. (unrelated, but his weapon of choice does happen to be a scythe.)
* narinder is still able to do rituals to channel big magic. when he does this, there is sometimes an afterimage of his true form overlays his current form. it seems to surround him, constantly shifting, shimmering in and out of existence. this makes him hard to look at sometimes, and can causes headaches.
* as some fun little details: narrinder's magic is purple-ish red and shot through with gold, and sometimes when he channels big magic, you can smell chai tea, the scent of his magic!
