On Friday you were brushing your teeth while watching a interview between him and jimmy falon and then Noah called you

“We’re about 14 minutes from your house”

“We’re picking you up to go to the Carlyle didn’t I tell you this”

“Shit you muttered under your breath then you quickly gathered all of the pieces your toothbrush handing between your lips and phone left on the counter in your bathroom on speaker.

Luckily You already packed most of it the day you found out out of excitement just in case threw a few more things in hoping it was enough.

You rushed downstairs to put your things in the drivers car and you guys drove to the hotel

Since you were there on Friday you had a whole weekend ahead of you free of expenses (not for Benito)

Benito and the rest of the team met you two in the lobby

The employee takes your bags immediately and Benito put your key in your hand

The day of the gala you got an ominous text from a unknown number at six am lucky you were already up since this was the first met gala you were actually going to. It's hard to get any sleep.

“come to the presidential suite in 30 minutes”

Although they never stated their name you already knew who this was

you knock on the door just for it to push open you put all the pieces on his bed there was no sign of him although you knew he was there. The bed was messy, a phone and wallet was still on the bedside table. You set your bag down on the hotel desk just then you heard water running in the distance you went to the bathroom and pushed open the door.

He was shaving his beard in the mirror. you stood in the doorway then his eyes met yours in the reflection and he smiled

“ where is everyone”

He answers “I wanted us to be alone”

He rinsed off his razor and dried the shaving cream off his face he threw the towel back onto the counter and walked over to you until he stood directly in front of you

“To say thank you for everything I know this was last minute”

Right obviously just to say thanks I don’t know why you get so parano- wait is he leaning in right now?

You both heard a knock on the door he opens it it’s his wardrobe stylists they came in to get him ready.

“We’ll talk…another time”

You turned your head to face him “uh i Have to check on other clients”

He didn’t believe you but accepted that answer anyway

You heard rumors about him sleeping around sometimes with his staff. Was it possible he was trying to you shake those ideas out of your head almost as quickly as it formed.

When you got back to your room you Facetimed a few of your clients in the mark hotel to check on their appearance, not leaving your hotel room for a bit to take your mind off this tension between your own client.

Then Noah knocked on your door

“we’re heading out in about 5 hours get ready”

You took a shower, did your makeup, refreshed your bohemian braids, and put on your simple dress (nothing crazy because you weren’t technically a guest) and hesitantly went back to his suite to talk to Noah

“Hey My drivers coming in thirty minutes”

Benito and Noah shifted their attention to you confused

“What driver”

“To the met I got a driver”

“We’re taking you I told you Wednesday” he continues when he sees you still look lost “at the last fitting”

You remember you zoned out from Benito eye fucking you from across the room and assumed that’s another thing you missed “ohhh right of course forgot about that”

Noah looks at you sceptical of your sudden epiphany and his eye lingers on you for a bit before turning his attention to Benito putting on his gloves now

“Looks like we’re ready I’ll get our driver to come around”

Muffeled reggaeton can be heard from the living room most likely his. The measurements went smoothly then came accessories the process of dressing him was pretty quiet he stood there while you put different jewelry and items up to him you chalked it up to the language barrier but still wouldn’t back down “so… do you see anything you like?” You asked as you put a few things aside to use. “It’s okay just do what you want” he reassures with a soft smile “it’s your look not mine I don’t mind you choosing a few things”

After a beat of silence he gave in and stepped off the small stool and picked beige shoes that suited the tie “this would look nice”

“What’s your size” i sat the shoes aside “I wear uh 11 and a half” he said as he looked around some more you wrote his size down then his eyes landed on the bags

He demos a few bags testing weight and he picks a retro-style, two-toned duffle bag he holds onto to it longer than the others and examined it closely tracing the leather with his fingers . “That one?” “ “yeah” He nods with a smile and hands it to you

“Is there anything else you would like that’s not here?”

“That not here? Uh i want to say I just want something…Puerto Rican maybe and “ah Espejuelos” he gestured to his eyes

“Like we can do a hat or something” you added

“Yeah a hat maybe” he assured

“I’ll make a few calls to see what I can do but for now we’re done I’ll work on the suit come back on Saturday for your fitting”

You cleaned everything up in the room and went back out his team started cleaning up and getting ready to leave as Noah walked towards you and shook your hand

“Thank you for all your work. We'll talk more about the plans for the Met at his fitting.”

Now it was time for him to try it on he was behind the changing curtain his manager Noah and a few of his team and friends in the room when he opened the curtain and stepped out and was met with cheers and praise.

“Yeah he got the presidential suite for him, he wants you to be there when he gets ready so your just a few doors down” so Friday we’ll send a driver to come down and take you to The hotel you bring all the pieces and-”.

The manager's words started to sound like distant murmurs as You turned to glance at Benito in your armchair and locked eyes with Benito almost as if he was already staring. You held his gaze for a second to see if he’d glance away and for a moment it seemed like neither of you would.

“and is Friday good for you?” Noah said reading off his clipboard that made you snap out of you and Benitos eye tag.

You try to recollect everything he was saying while you were zoned out

“Yeah Friday sounds good”

you spent the next three weeks tailoring the outfit adding a rope belt , broach, custom gloves and the pava hat that nodded to his Puerto Rican ancestry

It was Thursday afternoon. this was the final fitting he came over to your apartment one last time: the suit perfectly tailored, the vintage bag, the custom rope belt and the hat (a "pava") custom made from a Puerto Rican local.

His friends cheered him on and some took pictures now just wait until Monday

Alot of people say that “rue would stop using drugs for Maddy “but I just don’t see that to be the case considering she can’t even quit for her own mother and sister or even Jules maybe she will stop using so often or limit certain drugs but quitting? Not happening

And even tho Maddy is a ally she might still have internalized homophobia like I had before just accepting that I was bisexual and not “just an ally”

she might pull the “sexuality is a spectrum” and “this doesn’t make me gay” instead of just accepting her feelings and attraction to rue but further into the relationship she’ll get more comfortable and just accept it

I like to think the whole reason rue told Maddy about Cassie and Nate is because she wanted to make sure that bridge was burned before they started anything

Maddy does some drugs very rarely in the show i see them having a smoke sesh or doing molly every once in while when they’re together

(Rue having to bend down to hug her is so cute)

You laid everything out for Benito’s arrival dress shirts, shoes,

ties, a few bags and accessories to choose from and finally the suit you could definitely work with this. You heard a knock at your door.

You hand-comb through your braids briefly and shoved them behind your ears in front of the mirror.

You open the door. And you were met with about 15 different people. Some were Benito’s team that you’ve already met before from other clients, others were his friends and body guards. You didn’t mind the company as most of your clients were like this.

You greet your guests with hugs,handshakes and small talk

And then you saw him in the doorway. Tight fitting t shirt a navy blue jacket with matching shorts something you’d probably come up with he was scanning for something (or someone) he towered over most people in the room.

Once he spotted you he smiled softly and He wasted no time and immediately made his way to you met him halfway and his arms opened to you.

“You save my life right now” he spoke in a heavy Puerto Rican accent It was clear English wasn’t his strongest suit

“Ah sorry” he pulled away to introduce himself “im Benito Antonio Ocasio I've been wanting to meet you for forever I love your art” he expressed with admiration.

With how polite he’s being you felt like an asshole for talking shit about him earlier.

“It’s fine I have the main pieces but I also set out a few things from the Prada fall and winter collection since autumn colors seem to suit you you can pick out whatever you want after I get your measurements”

“Gracias, muchas gracias” he sighed of relief

He takes off his jacket and gives it to one of his bodyguards following you to your workspace

You are an independent artist/stylist but in order to get certain jobs like with a list celebrities you need a company to go under, That's when Prada steps in. But You aren’t their employee the designs and even handcraft pieces are yours to claim but it’s just hard to sell on your own its not like Mrs Prada takes all the credit your name is still on the websites to credit you but let’s be honest no one checks that. So for now this is just a partnership until hopefully you can start your own well known fashion company.

So far working with celebrities isn't so bad at least you’re getting connections even if they are rude most of the time.

She sips her tea across from you as you explain across the table her presence alone intimidating “Look it’s only last minute to you because it’s last minute to me” you explained

Mrs Prada stopped at a rack and pulled off a hanged garment bag “we’ve never released this this piece” You opened the garment bag It was the kid mohair suit you had been drawing constantly but the colors were darkened, the blazer was shorter more cropped than you remembered. And was missing some details.

“I’ve always wondered what happened to this” you traced the borders and lines of the suit. I think I’ll take a few more things.”

you left with the garment bag in hand and a few other things then you got a call from the agency

You answered it Hello?“Hello it’s Noah we spoke yesterday” “yes Noah. So why are you calling?” You got in your Porsche and threw almost the whole winter fall collection in the backseat and laid the garment Bag in the passenger

“Yes im calling because uh Benito is on his way” he sounded cheerful You stopped in his tracks your keys freezing in the ignition “On his way where” “To your studio” Noah said “I said he had until the end of the week it’s Tuesday” you exclaimed now hurrying into your car and pulling out.He sensed your tone and that cheerful voice faded into uncertainty

“Yeah well I mentioned that to him but he’s insistent on meeting you today” Noah pauses before asking “is now not a good time?”

“No it’s a great time” you reassured even though you weren’t being honest and glance back at the car filled with clothing items “I’ll be there” you hang up

Something to match his new album.

He and his unofficial styling team took inspiration from your instagram page and other people you’ve styled to start off his tour.

Now You have styled celebrities before Teyana Taylor, Letitia Wright, Damson Idris, A$AP Rocky etc. But you haven’t had an actual client that you style consistently.

But the anticipation for stylists heightened when The Met gala theme for 2025 was announced in November so far you have taken 5 clients designing, fitting, measuring, This past 5 months were very stressful thankfully you can use this last month as your downtime.

You were drawing in your small studio apartment a Met gala look for this year’s theme. It’s Not likely that anyone is gonna wear it was 5 weeks until the met and all of your clients were already taken care of. Your phone buzzed on the table

You stopped drawing and checked your phone

“Rimas Entertainment?”

You placed the phone on your shoulder pressing your ear against it to remain hands free to keep working

Hello?

A man’s voice answered in a Puerto Rican accent “Hey is this y/n y/ln”

This would’ve been your sixth client you took and it’s last minute this is not something you’d normally take

“Uh Have I already taken them? if not I won’t be accepting anymore clients at the moment”

“I know this is last minute but Benito really loves your work and he’s been busy with his tour we’ll pay you more if you can squeeze him in, Say 100 grand”

You stopped dropped your pencil and took your phone off your shoulder

“100 grand?”

“Yes ma’am As long as he makes it to the Met gala with a piece 100 grand”

That money was possibly the most you’d make in one piece you couldn’t turn this down.

“That sounds great but I don’t know if I can do much in a months time”

The alarm on your bedside rings breaking the silence in the room, you hear soft breathing coming from behind you.

It was the morning after you slept with your best friend Benito (again). His arm was anchoring you to the bed and against him. It became so common over the last couple of weeks.

He'll call you after he's finished in the studio or after a shoot, you go to his place or vise versa and for a while although you two never classified what you were or made anything official.

You lazily slapped the top of the alarm to silence it and sat up letting your legs hang off the side of the bed. You look around the room illuminated by the candles and The morning sun beaming Through the window, your clothes scattered on the floor. The only piece of clothing actually on you being his shirt. Benito stirs awake behind you. As you attempted to get out of bed you felt a hand grip your arm and pull you back roughly. As soon as you landed, Benito pressed his lips against yours and pulled you against him guiding your body ontop of his.

"where you going" he mumbles in the middle of the kiss against your lips. He doesn't wait for a response just keeps showering your face with kisses. You giggled against his lips pulling away placing your hands on his chest to create distance.

"I gotta go I have a flight to catch" you got up out of bed.

"C'mon mami I'll be quick" he sat up as he whined "I'll make sure you don miss your flight"

You got up and pulled up your pants. "Thats funny I remember Last night was supposed to be quick" you muttered more to yourself but loud enough for him to hear. When you turn around to face him his eyes were already looking down checking you out he Meets your eyes sheepishly. "Hey no looking" you threw a pillow at him He caught it and tossed it aside "What? I seen it all before…many times."

when you shot him a glance he held his hands up in mock surrender "Okay okay" he turned his back to you and put on his own shorts that were tented from his "sunrise salute".

"I'll take you home to get your bags then we can go to the airport" he started walking towards the garage.

"Sounds good" You gave him a peck as he passed by to grab his keys.

(I hate the sunrise salute phrase but I don’t another word for morning word and this part is definitely important to the plot)

(Im also trying to use broken English patterns when I’m writing for him. I picked up from relatives since some of them don’t speak a lot of English or just not perfectly fluent just like bad bunny.)
