winter is soon and im terrified that ana might come back to me

ive been sitting in front of a heater but im still freezing to death. my lips are blue, and its so hard to move even a muscle. im on my fifth aspirin, and the pressure on my heart is so intense.

being abusive or evil isn’t mysterious, powerful, or hot and it’ll never be.

you don’t have to romanticize cruelty to feel strong. being kind without being naive is the most elegant power there is.

being manipulative isn’t “feminine energy.” it’s emotional harm. real femininity is knowing how to influence with grace, not deceit.

hurting people because you were hurt isn’t healing. softness doesn’t make you weak. gentleness isn’t something you “grow out of.”

ignoring boundaries isn’t romantic. if they say no it’s no. if you say no you deserve it to be respected too. love isn’t control, it’s comfort.

pretending to be heartless won’t protect you. it only keeps love from finding you. you can be composed and warm, mysterious and kind.

being “better” than other girls doesn’t make you special. complimenting them does. learning from them does. femininity isn’t competition, it’s community.

you don’t need to become cruel to stop being a victim. you just need to heal and stop letting people who broke you define your worth.
