Steven took a while to promptly fall asleep, a fat heap of snoring and whispering of Crystal Gems and Dogcopter. Lars only knew because thatâs exactly what he expected, and wanted, to happen. A few âboosâ and âStevenâs were muttered, to see if he were only faking his sleep. With evidence it wasnât, he could only grin in the slightest.Â
Inevitably, the island ended up blowing the first two nights. No bars, no reception, and being stuck with his self-proclaimed BFF was terrible, even despite the fish and laughter shared. There was still hope, that maybe he could at least try and have fun with it. Sadie wasnât terrible. He got up from his cross legged sit, crawling away as silent as possible as he switched to Sadie. It was no wonder sheâd be asleep when he got there, this was Sadie!
Lars sat on his knees, leaning forward as he loomed on top of his coworker. A thin finger was brought to her cheek, once, twice, he poked her. If only to wake her up, his voice was low as he leaned in a little closer, he whispered.
A drawn out, this was more of a whine than anything important. Once, twice, he poked her once more along her cheek, and with a final, urgent his, he whispers once more.
He leaned back, his hands falling back into the sand. He ran over what to say, as most people didnât seem to like being woken up by urgent whispers and persistent cheek jabbing. Learned from experience. Letâs take a walk, without Steven. Itâll be fun. That was one way, or to offer looking around.Â
Looking up into the sky, Lars watched the stars glimmer. If anything, the provided enough decent light to walk around with, though he refused to use his phone like that, and waste battery. He took a quick glance back down at his friend, in obvious wait. Crossing his arms, he leaned back in, slouching down. He was impatient.
