storm

violent, crashing, hot pink

like a scrap of thunder she threw across the sky,

the clouds huddled in their dump of electric,

as she pelts the ground with no remorse.

ocean (draft one)

the moon has never loved the ocean,

I have heard the oceans crying, dead of night.

she was her guidance when she lost herself,

held her hand and felt nothingness,

she was a feeling in the absence of a fight.

some deep belief that she couldn't trust her thought,

like the ocean crashing into the shore,

and hell, the absence of pain was alluring,

and in her piercing net, she let herself get caught.

impact, and she exists,

sure as the moon will hold the seas hand,

safe in the thought of genocide;

if I leave her she will die

and she is breathless, and let's her lead

clutching her withering, jealous skin

there's a thousand reasons to cry,

Lunar

mysterious woman, covered,

a drowning, unhappy smile,

stretches across her perfect skin,

tainting the surface of her skin for a while,

as she reminisces her previous lover,

laying in the sapphire streams of desire.

Below the haunting moon, sitting on a moonbeam,

she watches the misery of the world with malicious glee,

what suffering, what suffering, means nothing to a woman

who has lived one thousand tragedies,

so will love one thousand more?

she will pierce the skin

of the shining star.

Uncertain and scared of the future unwinding,

neither of us know which direction we'll go in,

I'm scared of a light, of a life that is blinding,

Can anyone tell where we should end up?

No lover has ever been bold in their loving,

No woman has ever known where she will go

But dragging my arms through twisting wires, I could sing,

We can end up somewhere free and radiant.

funny that you appear at my worst moment

I'm clawing the walls of this sadness

i know desperately that you don't mean to hurt me

electronic buzzing keeps me alive;

every little red emoticon,

is worth the strain, the pain,

I know a day is coming,

a tomorrow, where I'll travel the cables,

the batteries, the sockets, and rocket

to what feels like mars,

and the silence is screaming through walls,

when the evening is shocking us,

the fluidity of my feeling?

though it's no longer constant

I've found a new concept

no feeling made dormant

will stay so for long.

like the moon misses the sun

you make the everlasting hours seem

short-lived and happy

but when you live on the sunbeams

I can't imagine the night being pleasant.

yet I thrive, amongst and against

the rising odds. I am here,
