Hi tumblr,
It’s been awhile, but as I scroll through my old posts, I see not a lot has changed. I’m still sad, I’m still stressed, I still feel inadequate, and unimportant. I want to matter. I want to feel like my work isn’t falling apart more every single day. I finally have someone to call my best friend, boyfriend and my number one support, but he will come up with any excuse to not move in with me or avoid committing more even though we have know each other for 4 years. It feels like I could be wasting my time again- chasing after someone who is never going to give me what I want. And then there’s the alcholic dad situation I keep having to deal with, and a mom who wants to be pissed all the time because she is busy taking care of my grandma. I love my sister and she is my number one support beyond my boyfriend, but she is hours away now too. And then work never fails to make me feel inadequate because of the director who has had it out from me since day one at this school. I was told by a student today that “oh she does the show because he isn’t professional enough”. I don’t believe that statement- but hearing it from the kids doesn’t make me feel great either. Let’s not even mention the Covid craziness Of it all. I’m so over life and not having the space or time to breathe and feel like I’m okay or valued. I still want to feel important- just like what I was saying throughout middle school, high school, college, and working at all those in between jobs. I don’t know if I’ll ever get past these issues or my abandonment issues.

Back at you with another breakup (this time I didn’t go back to an ex tho surprisingly). Everything was going perfect with this guy. Three months strong, making future plans and all... then out of the blue (I’m normally good at predicting a breakup) he says he wants to “reconnect with his faith”. Excuse me... you been out and gay for over 10 years... and you still haven’t come to terms with that. He even said this has been the best relationship he has ever been in but he wants to reconnect with god. Apparently this means we need to break up. He says he is not planning on dating women or anything but I’m like... why do we need to breakup then? I get going on a break if you need space but like huh? He didn’t even seem that religious! I’m just over this bullshit called dating. I want to be married with a house already. Kids I could do without but fur babies all the way. I’m going to go view a house today and I’m just at that emotional level of just saying “I’ll take it” no matter what the condition is cuz honey I’m tired of waiting on a man to fulfill my fantasies. I just wish I could be a happy asexual and move on with my life and not need no man ugh
